Realistically, I can see the remaining three Smash amiibo getting release dates. Maybe a mention of a port, a la how Smash 4 was announced at E3 2011. I don't expect footage of the port until closer to E3.

To be honest, I believe there is a very high chance the game will at least get a mention or other significant appearance; even if we don't see any new content for the time being, CONFIRMING THE GAME is what's important.

As for the possibility of seeing something along the lines of a character reveal or other new content being showcased, I would say we have a good chance; they have to hype up the port somehow. As I've said before (I believe), I will refuse to buy the port if it just consists of the DLC characters and stages getting ported; that's not enough for me and would not be a good move on Nintendo's part.

But I think it's FAR more likely we wont get ANY characters rather than getting some.

IMO I think Smash will be announced here with maybe one new character or something, but that will be it.

The reason is because I could see them trying to build a miniature version of the original game's hype train, by trickling out info until it's release later in the year. Assuming it has new content, of course.

If it doesn't have any new content, it's definitely getting announced here but they won't make a big deal, and will just mention the :4cloud::4corrin::4bayonetta: amiibo.

Absolutely. It's time for the franchise to make some bold changes. I'm going to be honest, I never could have expected this. But my uncle at Nintendo assures me of this major change in direction.

Oh yeah; does anybody happen to have a bingo card generator that they used to create their own cards? Favorably a template of one? I was thinking about making one for the first time and bringing it with me so I can mark down what happens. :p

I'm thinking Smash will be mentioned...I don't know how much, but I can see it being mentioned. Especially if Nintendo is once again going to have to rely on it's own heavy hitters, which I certainly hope isn't the case with the list of developers we've been shown.

Battleborn is a case of extremely bad timing. It's the same concept as Overwatch, released around the same time as Overwatch, but by a lesser known developer.

Waiting for Switch presentation, decided to finish Freedom Planet today (Good game so far).

Surprisingly the wait for this wasn't so bad for me. Maybe because other things caught my attention, but this came quickly and I haven't been this excited for something Nintendo Presentation wise since the December Smash Direct.

Can't wait to see what is showed off, and that new Mario game is something I really need to see more gameplay of.

I honestly considered it purely because it's on at 4 AM, and my classes way too often are a whole lot of literal nothing (like today).

But ultimately I decided it would work just as well if I just get up a bit earlier than usual to catch the presentation after the YouTube stream changes to an uploaded video. Gonna turn off my phone's internet to make sure I get no push notifications that spoil me in some way as well, and then I have the YouTube link bookmarked so I don't have to see any spoilers (just gonna cover the suggestions that will likely be full of videos about the announcements with my arm or something).
