yeah, I'm not really a fan of Arin either. I stopped watching Game Grumps when JonTron left. Not only is Jon much funnier, but Jon is also more objective imo with reviewing games and is more fair about his critiques. I also like Jon's style of humor more.

I left right before Jon left as I was getting bored, but do you know what makes me dislike GG the most? It's all Arin. Danny's a generic Yesman who rarely brings up interesting points or arguments with Arin, meaning if Arin says something, Danny always goes "haha yeah, that's right brah" whereas Jon would reply "This episode will now have the biggest dislike bar in Grump history". To bring up Johnny's gaming channel Super Gaming Bros again, they argue, they communicate, they mock eachother, they have CHEMISTRY!

I don't really know that Jon was that great in Gamegrumps imo

He seemed kind of awkward and nervous around Arin a lot of the time

I agree, Arin was better imo but Jon's personality and style had great synergy with Arin

Yeah, me too. I wasn't prepared and for that, my entire team was defeated. It's like suddenly the game wanting me to know that it's not ****ing around. Even tough this game is probably one of th hardest Pokemon game I ever played. Oh, and **** that Castform, screwing me while I could have win the first time if it wasn't for this little ****.

I wouldn't really say Jon's movie reviews are bad. He's done like, less than ten and they were all really good.

I'm pretty sure he's saying that he does reviews OF bad movies, not that his reviews are bad.

Also, I've never really watched the game grumps all that much, but I can already tell what people are saying by the pokemon stadium episode alone what people mean.

From the way you describe it the situation sounds as though he was actively looking for any excuse to soapbox and whiffed.

But then, any popular figure who has a reputation for dancing on one of my rawest nerves isn't going to look pretty in my eyes anyway, LOL. But then I don't like angry soapboxing either so hearing things like this doesn't help any.

I'm not sure how you even get stuck on Pokemon, though. I mean, something like Xenoblade, sure, I had some serious dunce moments there, got massively stuck on the first boss until I looked it up because I didn't pay attention to what the game wanted me to do when it blinked past. But Pokemon? Especially if they've already played Pokemon before, that makes it even odder.

I think my gf told me that Liam was leaving SBFP for a while and so is Matt. Liam is probaly personal reasons and Matt is married. Both are taking breaks but I love Pat and Wollie so nothing is all lost

Really? Everywhere I look, I see more people saying that Jontron was better and that while Dan is not a bad person. He is just following everything Arin say and Arin is not a great person to follow since he ***** more about game than anything. (which is a shame since you could see before he was really passionate with video game, with his Sequelitis on Mega Man/X and Castlevania 1 and 2 being great!
Now, he just look like a shadow of himself, and this sadden me greatly. I never know the Game Grumps before Jontron left. And while some of there video are funny, there is also alot of bad video out there. (*COUGH* Mario 64, Ocarina of Time *COUGH*) In fact, they seem to be more funny when they are playing bad game, since the game is bad, you don't feel bad when they are mocking it contrary to a good game that Arin is just too dumb to understand and rage instead.

Arin refuses to listen to tutorials and believes a game should teach him how to play the game through the gameplay, which worked in his childhood, yes, but games have become more and more complex and Arin stubbornly refuses to listen, and when he inevitably gets stuck, he gets mad at the game. What I also hate about Arin is how oblivious he is to everything, I mentioned the time he got stuck because he didn't listen to the game for an entire episode, but there have been times in which he replayed a stage without realizing it, effectively wasting everyone's time

Nowadays, though, I don't really watch their individual content, but I do watch the "Best of"s when they come out.
There are still some great moments, Wind Waker and Rainbow Curse had a few that I find really funny.

You mean like how Gematsu's reputation died when Chrom and the Choir Boys didn't get into Smash?

. . .I mean it KINDA did, but it also mostly didn't. If Laura manages to get most of it right, I imagine a few people will be gloating at her failures and calling her fake while the rest will still figure she's probably legit.

Or maybe people could be less forgiving of her than of Gematsu, who knows. If Wii Fit Trainer is considered a lucky guess then I'm sure everything she says is, too.

I was never an avid watcher of Game Grumps, but I did watch a lot of "Best of" compilations when Jon was around and laughed quite a bit.

When Jon left so did my interest in Game Grumps. I think Dan is a cool guy, but he never really had that same chemistry with Arin that Jon did.

And even when Jon was around, Arin started to get more and more annoying, and that got even worse when Jon left.

This episode is particularly awful, with Dan suggesting Arin to throw a knife multiple times but Arin doesn't listen. He keeps making the same mistake of throwing the chainsaw, saying "duuuh" and screaming "I DON'T HAVE A KNIFE!" and unsurprisingly, he died. From the comment section itself you can see that some people think what he did was great because afterall, "Game Grumps is about fun, not about gameplay!" while others think it was annoying and posting a video with little to no progress in the game is, at best, disrespectful to the viewers.

Suzy is a major one, mostly due to whether you think she's very funny or is too much of a joke-killer.
