Oh, I think it's Ross I like. I think I mixed him up with Danny.Frankly I like Ross and Holly the most out of the Grump crowd.
I swear when I read that. I just couldn't take Arin's critic seriously and his Zelda Sequelitis become mediocre to absolute **** in my eyes. (Tough, I already hated that video anyway)Okay, so it turns out Arin rage quitted Skyward Sword because he couldn't figure out how Bomb Bowling works. I have officially decided he should be fired from life. That's worse than Elliot getting a game over in World 1-1 in Super Mario Bros AND not getting 100 stars at the end of Super Mario World
One thing I kind of like about gen 1 was the lack of competition between what pokemon you choose.I've never really watched that many episodes of the game grumps, like, at all. Except for the stadium one and a few pokemon ones, but that just proved to me the lack of knowledge of Arin more so than anything. I mean, to be fair gen 1 has some really weird and dated mechanics that I don't blame him more missing, it's the really basic stuff that irks me. I mean, JohnTron wasn't much better(okay, maybe a little bit actually) but he at least never claimed to know stuff he doesn't know from what I saw.
Also, I have no idea whether or not Egoraptor is a genwunner or not, but it reminds me of how most genwunners know little about gen 1.
But anyway, that's not any serious drama or anything. I've never really got that much into the serious stuff aside from knowing that JohnTron is hated by some people because of gamergate conflict. Which I'm not going to go much into because everyone gets triggered easily by the topic even though it's really redundant by this point and has nothing to do with the origin of it.
I wonder who would have the worst Crash 3: Warped playthrough?Okay, so it turns out Arin rage quitted Skyward Sword because he couldn't figure out how Bomb Bowling works. I have officially decided he should be fired from life. That's worse than Elliot getting a game over in World 1-1 in Super Mario Bros AND not getting 100 stars at the end of Super Mario World
Grump Dream Course is a good one. One of the few that I decided to watch all the way through.Dan is best Grump.
Though honestly I don't mind Arin. He has his moments, though I can see how he'd be hard to stomach in large doses for some.
That being said I haven't watched GG in a while...I need to finish their Grump Dream Course playthrough since the concept is hilarious.
The what now?So who's seen Rogue One and who thought the way they did the thing with the slidey was crap and it should've not been harmed.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot how he kept bashing Skyward Sword in a video Skyward Sword had no reason to even be named. That video is flawed too, He compared LTTP, a game with a formula that was refined to an experimental game that tried treading new ground and innovating. Honestly, **** ArinI swear when I read that. I just couldn't take Arin's critic seriously and his Zelda Sequelitis become mediocre to absolute **** in my eyes. (Tough, I already hated that video anyway)
It's just nitpicking at it's worst.
Arin, no doubt. John mentioned in a later video that the double jump was more finicky than he remembered and apologized for most of Elliot's **** upsI wonder who would have the worst Crash 3: Warped playthrough?
Arin or Elliot?
You know, at the end. When they push the thing. I'm trying to be as non-spoilery as possible. The what now?
I get what you mean. The same could be said for Gen 2.(Though it did have IVs, but they didn't make as huge of a difference and in the metagame they're all maxed anyway.) There is something nice about not having to worry about Nature(this especially, as much as it gives you a boost that you need in competitive.) EVs or IVs. It's less time consuming and you can just use a pokemon right off the bat. I like the added effects in competitive, just not so much in game.(Mainly because it screws me over more so than it does me any favors.)One thing I kind of like about gen 1 was the lack of competition between what pokemon you choose.
Like, I could have Blastoise with Earthquake, Surf and It wouldn't be bad. Afterall, Blastoise attack is only 2 base points from his special.
But once they added natures and EV spreads, I specifically have to focus on special.
The new way isn't bad, it's probably better. But there are some nice things about the old way
I do. I usually have neutral natures on my pokemon because it's less time consuming.(And you can still have the right nature, but it could potentially be the same/not as strong because the IVs aren't as good.)Has anyone ever tried a neutral nature run?
It sounds interesting to me. More or less copying gen 1.
Hopefully the trailers they play for your viewing are much better than mine was.Sitting in a Rogue One theater now. The worst part isn't the movie itself, but rather all of the annoying, boring commercials that come before it
This is why I normally watch movies via streaming or buying them on dvd.
The movie starts really slow as well.Sitting in a Rogue One theater now. The worst part isn't the movie itself, but rather all of the annoying, boring commercials that come before it

Here's the same old car adverts you've seen for the past year, here's the same old sad depressing advert for a charity, here's the same old insurance/phone related ads and maybe the one video game ad.Sitting in a Rogue One theater now. I use to be a big fan of his, but he's gone all but sour for me. These days it feels like he's having unpopular opinions for the sake of having unpopular opinions. Which is annoying. Not to mention how much he disrespects people with opposing view points, despite always claiming to be "neutral".There was a problem fetching the tweetAre there any Haedox fans out there? What do you like about him? Only video I remember from him was 'THOUSAND YEAR DOOR ISN'T AS GOOD AS PEOPLE SAY IT IS' and listed backtracking as something the fanboys conveniently never mention in an attempt to invalidate criticism for later Paper Mario games. Despite how every fan I've seen of 1000 year door saying the backtracking is an issue
If you look at the tweet's replies you'll see he found it and isn't neutral at all lolI use to be a big fan of his, but he's gone all but sour for me. Haedox is a weird case, on one hand. I like some of his video, he bring up some good point about some game and company and he seem to work hard for what he does. On the other hand, it seem like he is trying too hard to be that guy that say that people are childish and that the fan are always the problem. And while some fanbase are quit.....special, he just seem too arrogant at time to be take seriously. His voice have also always this "boring" tone that make him sound like it's a pain to talk for him. Which get worse when, again, he become arrogant and think that the fan will whine no matter what they or he said. Also, like you mention, his PM 2 video was filled with nitpicking, bad research and, again again, feeling that the fan are just over praising a game that isn't that good in his opinion (Plus, he sound so arrogant when he say he much prefer SPM, as if he was special or something). There was a problem fetching the tweetAre there any Haedox fans out there? Your city must be boring. My advertisements were pretty cheesy and as a result, entertaining. Like a commercial for a local restaurant asking "Got the crabs?". Just weird stuff like that.Sitting in a Rogue One theater now. The worst part isn't the movie itself, but rather all of the annoying, boring commercials that come before it

Both of his abilities are helpful and have flaws, Beserk is good but Drampa's a bit too frail for it and Sap Sipper gives it an immunity but boosts the wrong statI just raised up a drampa with EV's because he had the right IV spread I wanted
Only to realize he had the wrong ability
Don't get me wrong, they are good but there's less of a barrier for the reviewed material's inherent cringe.I wouldn't really say Jon's movie reviews are bad. He's done like, less than ten and they were all really good.
Oh dang, yeah. I have ability capsulesBoth of his abilities are helpful and have flaws, Beserk is good but Drampa's a bit too frail for it and Sap Sipper gives it an immunity but boosts the wrong stat
EDIT: Even then, ability capsule
Well, if it's funny either way, does it matter how easy they are to do?Don't get me wrong, they are good but there's less of a barrier for the reviewed material's inherent cringe.
Try using the spoiler tagYou know, at the end. When they push the thing. I'm trying to be as non-spoilery as possible.
Matters how hard they are to watch at points. I'm just not a bad movies guy.Well, if it's funny either way, does it matter how easy they are to do?
I've watched most of his videos(even back when he was super obscure and reviewed Garfield Kart) but I've never been a fan. I've just always watched for the content that he does cover, as he does cover some interesting topics, but I've never really been into him myself. There was a problem fetching the tweetAre there any Haedox fans out there? He's too cynical and mopey for my liking. Not that I mind cynical(I love YMS) but he doesn't really have any fun with it or anything, ever. He takes himself too seriously.
What?> Garfield Kart
