Gangbang Smash 8 Player Smash was a fun little game mode for the first few battles, but in the end, my friends and I simply preferred 1v1 or 2v2 over it.

A person can kill people and still not like killing. Just because you don't like killing doesn't mean that you can't not kill. In war, killing is inevitable. You can try to kill as little as possible, but at some point, you will have to kill, whether it'd be to save somebody else or your own life. Gandalf's words to Frodo work in this scenario.

I know that scene is rather dumb in itself, but quite honestly, both scenarios could work horribly wrong either way. Capturing them to get Hoshido to surrender would end the war quickly and could potentially stop more lives from being lost, but seeing as Garon has little qualms about killing and technically wants everyone to die anyway, getting Hoshido to surrender may possibly lead to more lives being lost since Garon would threaten the lives of the Hoshidan siblings to force them to do nothing against him.
And next bit, considering Corrin also wants to prevent his Hoshidan siblings from dying and Garon wants to make Corrin suffer, there'd be no doubt in my mind that Garon would make sure his siblings were dead before going on the Hoshidan throne. I mean, you could use a simple, "Hey, don't kill them yet. Go on the throne while they are still alive, let them witness your victory over them as you go on the throne, etc." to him in a attempt to try to get the Nohrian siblings convinced to help out the Hoshidan siblings against Garon when he goes on the Hoshidan throne, but Corrin's suffering is definitely high on Garon's things-to-do list and no doubt he would want to make Corrin suffer first.
And I doubt the Nohr siblings would actually do anything to help him this time. They may have gotten away with other things, but considering these are the Hoshidan siblings, would the Nohr siblings actually choose Corrin's wish over Garon's wish with the Hoshidan siblings? And if Garon wanted to kill the Hoshidan siblings himself, would the Nohr siblings actually be willing to fight against him for Corrin? In all possibilities, I could actually see the Nohr siblings doing nothing for Corrin and his Hoshidan siblings. And if such happened, there'd be no doubt that Corrin would lose himself and potentially kill his Nohr siblings in rage.

Basically, the scene is dumb, but at the same time, I could see alot of things going just as wrong if Corrin did decide to let them capture the siblings rather than help them escape. Cause this is Garon we are talking about and he's just as random as he is in that one cutscene in Revelations.

    • It's night time in the game, so I decided to go back to the previous route to catch more Pokemon.
    • NEW POKEMON: RATTATA - Chewy. Nah, I'm not gonna use Faticate.
    • NEW POKEMON: SPINARAK - Spooder. Used Ariados in the past. It was painful.
    • Going back to he quest, Hala is playing tag with a Tauros. That sounds dirty.
    • NEW POKEMON: MAKUHITA - Sumo Already used Hariyama once before.
    • NEW POKEMON: SMEARGLE - Bob Ross. Not using him, and I'm not sorry.
    • NEW POKEMON: DROWZEE - Daydream. Maybe? I've never used one before. Can't hurt adding her for now, right?
    • A cemetery? Let's go check it out.
    • NEW POKEMON: MISDREAVUS - Siren. Never used one, let's try it.
    • POkEMON EVOLUTION: BEAK BIRB ---> TRUMBEAK. Awesome.
    • NEW POKEMON: GASTLEY - Spooker. I've used It many times before, let's try something else.
    • Hey, this house has a guy who's talking about teaching a kid a lesson. And with broken golf clubs.... I'm not liking this.
    • One room has a big boom box. Hmm...
    • Oh well, time to go.
    • What's this? A Delibird? Hey, let go of my bag!
    • Berry farm, huh? Hey it's those Team Skull goons.
    • Well, not even the lowly farmer cares much about them. I'm starting to feel sorry for these guys.
    • NEW POKEMON: GROWLITHE - Pupper Dog VERY tempting, but not this time.

    • NEW POKEMON: CRABRAWLER - Rocky This little guy jumped out of some berries, still I'm going to have to decline this time.

    • Beating up Rattatas? This is going to be easy.

Things of interest.

  • One brand new IP is coming to the Switch. From who is up in the air.
  • There will be a version under 300 bucks.
  • There will be one 32 GB entry model.
  • Two Third Party Exclusives at least. One being the Rabbid RPG.
  • VC will disappoint in terms of raw volume of titles.
  • Presentation will be 30-60 minutes.
  • Pokemon Stars has multiple leaks around it.
  • No idea what happened to Cloud, Corrin or Bayonetta amiibos.
  • She's heard about Acheivements of some sort, but she isn't sure what they are.
  • Expect to pay a small upgrade fee for VC again.... *groan*
  • No new accounts will be necessary if you set one up for Miitomo/Mario Run/ My Nintendo
  • Smash port seems minimal. Mario Kart port seems extensive.
  • She says it should be Region Free.
  • Has not heard anything about a Special Edition of Breath of the Wild.
  • Advanced Vibration is a thing.
  • Beyond Good and Evil 2 is getting a teaser made.
  • Mother 3 rumors keep circling around but it never materializes.
  • Monolith Soft is working on something new, but has combat similar to Xenoblade and X? Xenoblade 3?
  • Retro is not working on Metroid
  • Bluetooth support
  • Multiple dev kits have been made. The rumored ones appear to be ones from July when the last one went out in October.
  • Miiverse might be back.
  • You should be able to get more docks after a while.
  • Analog triggers are things.
  • Ethernet capability
  • Don't expect Monster Hunter in the Presentation.

Not really enticing from what i'm reading TBH. Here's hoping the actual Presentation itself will be more exciting then what's rumored to happen.

I want to know what Intelligent Systems is cooking since they're if not the only dev team then they're one of the very few devs that haven't had their projects leaked. IS has always had something either at launch or very close to launch for just about ever Nintendo console/handheld.

My RPG has 22 characters, each has their own unique abilities and yes half the party member choices are mage types each using their own element.

The elements are: fire, water, earth, wind, dark, light, space, lightning, ice, poison, energy, blood and time.

:p

Laura says hardly any new content and Liam/Source Gaming says they'll be only a few characters added in. Either way we should all go in to this with super low expectations.

I do think there's a possibility that new content for Smash Switch could start after Sakurai finishes working on whatever game he's doing though. Maybe some time in 2018 or 2019.
