This. Getting a 6IV Ditto in game is possible, but its incredibly tedious. Breeding Pokémon can also be very tedious, which is why 6IV ditto are so sought after, because they ease the breeding process and create better Pokémon quicker then other Ditto would.
I did that back in the days of gen 5. Hacked to get a team of 6 dark types for my dark mono run
the 100% catch cheat I did in the Diamond was a godsend and then I hacked in pokemon from other gens to be in the wild because, why not

This type of stuff is how I got into competitive battling in the first place. I didn't know too much about EVs,but after seeing enough battles i just plopped some in and made it out of Gen 5 just fine. Can't do it now though. lack of a 3DS one prevents it.
Do you have Beans in Pelago? They should be interconnected with Pelago and and Refresh. I don't know why there would be beans in the Pelago but not in Refresh..

Psychicium Z is found in an optional desert. Flyium Z is in the cave where you catch Rockruff but you need a certain ride Pokémon
Haina Desert (north of Route 13 and need to have Ghostium Z)

After you play that, play Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, its just as good if not betterI've been playing pokemon coliseum and so far, I got to say, why has no one ever told me about this game?
