I would say Nintendo'd probably catch less heat hiring them more often, then, but vaguely remembering things and knowing my luck they'd probably be about as interested in working on more Nintendo games as Sakurai is on making sequels to anything of his.

Overall Nintendo games seem to be at their best when the person handling it starts going wild and crazy, though. Even Treehouse has it's moments where it does something other than fail, look at what happened with Gregor. . .It's when they're the opposite of wild and crazy that most things seem like they start to go wrong, actually.

They are just cool bonuses. I like having them due to their difference color schemes. I like a lot of them better then normal forms. It's just a fun thing people like to collect.

In that case, I can just let you borrow mine for dex purposes.

This feels unfortunate, but at the same time locking Megas behind item triggers and then disallowing items from being placed in Pokemon Bank always did seem like a back door they could use to get rid of them if they wanted to. The same probably goes for Z-Moves.

At the same time, MOST of them are ones that can be found on the dex with the ones that can't being missing, it's just the Starter ones that make it off. . .

In before he gets into MvC4 and nobody who knows the character just sees another Spider-Man and whines like they did about X-23 and She Hulk despite their playstyles being different from Logan and Bruce.

Though my favorite was seeing people complain about Rocket Raccoon being a waste of roster space, then come the Guardians movie blowing up into a bigger success than expected the same people loved him and had suddenly never said such things.

The internet gotta love it.

Well that was anti climactic to an extent, while the dungeon was overall challenging, the trial was pretty much the bare minimum.

And Totem Kommo-o was a joke, Mimikyu one shot it with Play Rough and didn't lose HP

It's almost as if people don't even understand how fighting games and crossovers work at all sometimes.

If developers have an idea, they will find a way. Not to mention the way that Phoenix fought? Literal genius. It fit with the style of his series and was completely humorous. Someone who doesn't fight? Hurting people while just doing his job and being clumsy? Perfect.

This is why I still want to see a fighter for Overwatch one day, just to see how the characters abilities translate to that genre.

Me and you had a completely opposite time with that trial then. I thought he was the hardest.

He called for help and ended up getting Scizor, which ended up one shoting my Mimikyu after I switched out Mimikyu the turn before, taking away her decoy.

I was really hoping Mimikyu was faster than Scizor too...

The character choices for UMvC3 were definitely better compared to some of the other character choices in Vanilla. And Nemesis was a breath of fresh air after their way of choosing 3 RE characters for Vanilla MvC3.

If I'm gonna have Resident Evil characters, I would have a Hero(Chris or Jill), a Villain(Wesker) and a Zombie(Nemesis). I like my variety. It's why I wanted Robin over Chrom.

It also didn't help that they went all Resident Evil 5 with their characters. But then again, I'm not one for full advertisement. Like I could understand using RE5 Chris and Wesker(especially after their RE1 appearances were added as Alts later). But I definitely don't think Jill needed her 5 appearance, especially her mind-controlled appearance and personality. If Jill was in, I'd use either her pre-controlled design or a mix of her RE1 appearance with her RE5 pre-controlled appearance and she is not mind controlled.

Edit: And to be somewhat honest, I would have Jill, Wesker and Nemesis in first, as that'd allow me to put in Leon for Male Hero and give the non-Chris/Jill games some attention.

It's ironic how the Versus series has had Jill, Chris, Wesker, and Nemesis, and yet sometimes when I see discussion of Resident Evil characters in Smash, Leon is considered a frontrunner at least partially due to his Nintendo ties (RE4 being the only mainline RE to have an initial Nintendo release).
