I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised. I checked my play time last n-. . .early this morning and it turns out I was at just shy of 18 hours. . .after having owned the game for 27. But a ton of people were still way ahead of me. I mean, granted I slept in after initially charging forward and took a bit of a break to eat at one point, but. . .yeah I guess that explains it.

Anyway I finally evolved all of the (incredibly unbalanced and open to sweeps, heh) team I have on me at the moment, so since everyone else is doing it, team time!

Incineroar (Mr. Inferno): Lv. 41
Lurantis (Cupcake): Lv. 34
Wishiwashi (Friendship): Lv. 37
Toucannon (Skyline): Lv. 37
Salazzle (Holiday): Lv. 36
Lycanroc (Holoska): Lv. 34

I'm open to swapping out whatever, but the ones I'm more open to swapping out happen to be ones covering for weaknesses. . .and one of the Pokemon I was thinking about would compound the problem, LOL.

*EDIT* I just realized it was probably that one spot on the second island I spent several posts ranting about that slowed me down. Still, I'm surprised I played that long and still had a significant number of people leading on me by a wide margin.

I hope nobody expects Stars to look like a AAA game. It'll look better than Sun and Moon for sure, due to being in a much higher resolution but nothing more than that.

Trading/battling locally is not an issue at all, so yeah it makes sense. The advantages of being a handheld hybrid.

You get a hold of Emily Rogers and Laura Kate Dale's twitter accounts.

What fake rumour do you post to screw with people?
All Wii U titles published by Nintendo will get ported over to Switch. Yes, all of them.

The games are switching from one platform to another!

Note to anyone that receives $8000

When I ask for your SS#

Don't say, "How are you going to know if I give you the real number?"

also don't get angry when I then require to see your SS# card because of the stupid thing you said but didn't have it with you

People are expecting it to look like a AAA game? . . .Well I guess there's people who think that going to a console means Pokemon models will become ultra-detailed despite that partially being a stylistic choice and people who think going console means we're getting an MMO when that's a gameplay choice, so probably. Neither of those things are likely to happen, so the people chomping at the bit for that are setting themselves up for disappointment.

That said, just altering it to be higher resolution should make a nice difference, at least to me. The Pokemon and trainer models are basically good to go, but the region assets have really foggy textures which if the rumors are correct are almost guaranteed to be replaced. The main thing I wonder is whether or not they'd touch up some of the blockier landscape models, too.

If anyone's looking for Grimer, he appears twice as often in the school

An unstoppable highly poisonous eating machine that'll eat anything in reach if there is no trash - in the school grass

Edit: Yeah! Got me an adamant one with poison touch

Oh man, even with all this Pokemon hype, BGS still manages to excite me even more
I now hope Steinbeck dies painfully for hurting my Sinnamon Roll, he'll pay for it, he'll pay for it and it'll be very expensive, then let's see if he can feed that stupid sister of his :^)
I love Fitzgerald's design but why does he have to be such a ****? I mean, yeah, I know a little about his real life self and it's not any better but still
FLYING MOBY **** DON'T QUESTION IT. EDIT: Thanks, Smashboards, I always felt that Moby **** was a very vulgar title for a book
atsushi is naruto lol
Heh, Atsushi quoting himself, neat
Next episode is gonna be hype oh boy
Now that I think about it, the breeders in Sun and Moon look like the ranchers and cowgirls from the Gen 4 games.

:094:
Yeah, I actually thought it was gonna say "Cowgirl" when I first battled the one at the graveyard
And I also got surprised who represents the "Gentlemen" class lol

Also my Grimer happened to be holding black sludge so I essentially have leftovers on the first island

. . .I just realized that a third version of Sun and Moon will possibly have additional Z-Moves since ORAS added new Mega Evolutions in the same generation as XY.

What Pokemon would you like to see get unique Z-Moves?

. . .I kind of want Lucario to get one, but it already has a Mega Evolution so I probably shouldn't get my hopes up.

Somewhere out there on this big blue marble
Today was a ****ing awful day. Last night I couldn't sleep as my sister had a friend over and they couldn't shut up, I woke up after a mere 5 hours of sleep, and being unable to fall back asleep, it rains like hell when I have to go work, customers are being assholes like never before, expecting stores to have absolutely EVERYTHING in stock at all times, I had to do the frozen foods but the colleagues I had there were either too busy to help or was an incompetent as hell intern who refused to listen to me when I told him how to make things easier and quicker. Then I had to help clean up empty beer bottles, something I LOATHE, then the frozen foods took forever, making me miss my 10 o'clock break, my foot starts hurting and I find out I have big, painful blisters, both customers and colleagues won't leave me alone for 2 minutes without asking me all sorts of questions, then we don't have anymore newspapers to read because some moron forgot to bring one to the cafeteria, more work that was tiring as hell, then getting yelled at for not telling a higher-up I was having my break, something I DID tell a different higher-up, more hours slaved away, and after 9 hours of labour, my foot hurts, I've got an infection on my other foot and am in great pain. The one saving grace is that I got to borrow Guardians of the Galaxy and Winter Soldier, and I'm going to watch those on the only thing I have that can play DVDs in my room.
...

I'm 10 levels above the trainer's pokemon so wild battles are no problem

Yet another update.

Brionne: Level 28
Gengar: Level 27
Charjabug: Level 25
Magnemite: Level 24
Roggenrolla: Level 23
Eevee: Level 23

Just finished Mallow's trial. Nothing special to say about the trial itself, bar the battle... which was pretty difficult. Even with paralysis, Lurantis still outsped a decent portion of my team, and it hit hard too with Solar Blade, even on stuff that resisted it, like Magnemite. I'm just glad Solar Blade is a two turn move, because that would be a major pain otherwise.
Side note: Eevee's surprisingly holding up. I figured at this point in the game it would be near useless, but it's proving me wrong. I really hope it evolves soon though because it's only a matter of time before it loses use.

Totem Whishiwashi was actually a joke.
Coo brought it down to half of its HP with a crit Razor Leaf, and even though it ate its Sitrus Berry, I was still able to defeat it easily.
Was annoyed when I found out that I can't catch its ally Alomomola, though.

The only problematic Totem I faced was the Grass Totem. It summons Castform and Castform brings up Sun to activate Leaf Guard, One-Turn Solar Blade and upgraded Synthesis. But Dartrix Plucked the **** outta both of them and they fainted. Gave me a surprise if anything.

You can't catch pokemon in a trial eare until you finish it.

The Totem pokemon is a Lurantis, right?

Castform for OU. :p

-----------------

The more I look into Dhelmise the more I like it. Great attack and defense, what is essentially three STABs, Power Whip, Anchor Shot trapping, Anchor Shot making Phantom Force a viable move choice, being both a Rapid Spinner and a Spinblocker, being a perfect Assault Vest user, and him unintentionally giving Chandelure a shot to rise to OU as a counter since Gengar and Talonflame will likely not be OU anymore.

I want several.

Just caught a Bonsweet! Naughty nature, which isn't the best, but hey, it still brings Attack up, so I'll take it, even with the lower Special Defense. Plus, it has Oblivous, which is much better than Leaf Guard.

Oh damn, I forgot Lurantis could summon Castform. Gods, that could've made the fight pure hell for me.
... I kinda want to go through that though. Just to see how difficult it could get.

I have to say the Totem Pokémon battles are pretty cleverly designed.
-Wishiwashi summons an Alomomola, which has Helping Hand and Heal Pulse, and well as Healer for a passive ability.
-Salazzle summons Salandit for a nasty dual Toxic/Venoshock combo.
-Lurantis summons a Castform, which sets up Sunny Day for what I assume is a Leaf Guard set.

I've honestly had more trouble with these Totem battles then I've had with the majority of trainers in the game right now.
