If Pokemon Trainer/Red ever returns to Smash do you think they'll use his S&M design?

Depends if they ever will bring back transformations in Smash, though I kind of doubt they will.

As for Red. They will probably stick with his more recognisable FireRed/LeafGreen design but I guess we could always see his Sun/Moon design as an alt. But to be honest, I'd kind of prefer to see the other trainers as an alt for him even though that might be a little too much for something that's mostly cosmetic for a character you can't even directly play as....

Honestly I'm not a fan of the design of Sun/Moon Red.

Maybe because he's barely recognizable as such now.

His design does look a little off though, can't exactly pinpoint on what...

Its the shirt. Red looks fine, but its the shirt that throws you off. And a bit of maturity to the face.

I felt like Red looked a bit off too, but now I see what it is. He looks like he's wearing a shirt he had when he was still ten, seriously, how small is that thing? His hair just looks... weird as well. The jacket was a key part of his look too.

Blue looks older, sure, but he has the same style he had when he was younger.

Decidueye is an infinitely superior name than "Robinroot" or whatever people called it before. Grass/Ghost is a lot better than Grass/Flying, and it gets Mean Look with damage but I'm not sure how good will that move be.

Incineroar is not Fire/Fighting; finally people can stop complaining about the type. It's not even that bad (neutrality to Stealth Rock is good). Fire/Dark is interesting regardless and I hope it gets Tough Claws because STAB TC Knock Off is lit.

Primarina is also a better name than "Entermaid." Water/Fairy is really good (see Azumarill) and if it's supposed to be a bulky special attacker it might have some use. Would be pretty funny if it got Pixilate Hyper Voice. At least it gets to have Scald since it's a Water-type. No Aurora Veil though, lol

The Tapu look cool. Honestly thought Tapu Bulu would be Fire/Fairy.

Cosmog is cute.

And I guess the Battle Tree is Alola's Battle Maison.

There isn't really anything wrong with how he looks.

He just looks a bit strange.

It's like meeting a friend from primary school as an adult, and they look way different to how you ever would have imagined them looking when grown up.

Decidueye is likely based off of the Owlman, basically the English equivalent of the Mothman...sightings of the Owlmam do describe it being very Ghost-like...also the Barn Owl which the Rowlet line is based on are sometimes mistaken for ghosts at night...
Its also possible that Barn Owls are what people sighted as the Owlman, since they do resemble ghostly figures at night...

At least that's my theory...

They're MAGES., a character from the Neptunia series. Personification of the company of the same name; who appeared originally as a DLC character for V (the third game, it's weird) and became a staple in the Re;Birth remakes of the first 3 games. Don't know if she's in V-II yet.
