It would probably open the flood gates of requests for every character in fiction (even the bad ones).

For ever Goku, there would be a Kirito. For every Spongebob, there would be a Breadwinners duo. For every Superman, there would be a Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Or he'd rather have Smash focus on just video game characters for tradition's sake. Once you add one non-gaming character, people would be begging for more.

Yeah, deciduous trees are, put simply, ones that lose leaves in winter and stuff. It's the opposite of a coniferous tree, like a pine, which keeps its needles throughout the winter.

Another basic simplification is cones=coniferous, leaves=deciduous.


There's a bit more to it than that, but that's the basic difference.
