Why is that?
I don't play DH that much, but I find him a good retro, kind of sad that he sort of just faded into obscurity and isn't talked about or used often in the community. I've seen more wii fit trainer players then his!

The sheer stupidity of the negative reception, and the reasoning behind it, for the Brawl roster in spite of the elimination of Melee-style clones as well as the inclusion of tons of fan-favourites including Sonic prtty much shows how lame the Smash fanbase can be. I specifically dislike him pre Smash 4, but despite being impressed that Sakurai made a dog work as a fighter, I still don't care about the dog.

Pretty sure the so-called "8-bit laugh" is actually just a "you lost" jingle. (Said jingle is actually present in the Duck Hunt stage when ducks fly away and it's part of the Duck Hunt Medley as well.)

It doesn't even sound like a laugh, especially when the dog makes barking sounds in the original game.

I remember wanting to make him a main for me when the game came out. I used him for a bit, but then I just moved on to other characters. I pick him up from time to time for fun, but I feel bad not playing him anymore. I will agree though, not that many talk about him to be honest. I'd say him and Bowser Jr. are the characters that people just seem to forget are even in the game, which is weird.

Especially during the ballot, I found a number of people who took it a little too far or even treated it like it was war..... At least I personally didn't really find the pre-ballot speculation as pleasant as the pre-game speculation....

Speaking of unpleasant fanbases, I revisited an old Zelda fansite recently but after looking around and seeing a few melodramatic fans, I kinda remembered why I more or less left that site in the first place.... ^^;

But overall, I think every fanbase has its bad eggs. ^^

Alright, he definitely was mad impressively, so that I can agree with. As I said, I like DH, but don't play him often.

I've seen a lot of koopaings, and iggy is my 3rd main, but yeah, DH, hasn't gotten much love. I think he needs some buffs and have him kill easier. His smash attacks are so easy to avoid but are the most efficient way of getting K.O.s

So the person can't see you or your posts
This can be useful for some reasons

Nah, the character is a Duo from Duck Hunt, everyone else are pretty much summons and not constantly in the battle like Dog & Duck, who are the main stars.

Plus Duck Hunt sounds dumb as a character name.
