I guess I'm the only one here who doesn't really like Sonic 3 or S&K. I mean, they're fine, but they never captured the brilliance of the first 2.

Agree imo Sonic 2 ****s on S3&K and in terms of Level design and music

I used to like more of S3&K, most because of the content, but nowadays, I prefer the Sonic 2 over it. It feels like a real evolution of the original concept done right in all aspects;

Sonic heroes would have been so much better in my book if they didn't reuse pretty much every single level and if the controls were better. The level designs are usually good and the team mechanic is pretty cool.

I remember getting used to the controls fairly quickly. Then again, it was my first non-licensed game. Egg Fleet should have been in Generations imo

I have no favorite post-Genesis Sonic game; ...just some I like more than others, but still disappoint me in many aspects. I think the only I genuinely like is the first Sonic Advance (aka real Sonic 4);

There's actually an option in the PC version called "charmy_shutup" that allows you to disable the voices...yes, that's what it's called, it's quite amusing.

Way too many Glitches. Elise. Bosses were largely uninspired. Elise. Too many different playstyles. Elise. Too many loading screens which took ages. Elise. Eggman's design.

I'll comment on the ones I've played.

Sonic 1: Good for when it came out, but completely overshadowed by Sonic 2 and 3.

Sonic 2: Better than Sonic 1 but there is something about it that I just don't enjoy too much.

Sonic 3: Favorite in the franchise.

Sonic Adventure: Very dated but can also be very fun. Not Big or Amy's paths though, **** those.

Sonic Adventure 2: Also dated but I still enjoy it.

Sonic Heroes: It's okay, certainly not as bad as what's to come...

Shadow the hedgehog: Ugh. Certain levels are fine, but others are just the worst.

Sonic 06: No comment.

Sonic and the secret rings: Ugh.

Sonic and the black knight: A lot better than secret rings, I actually enjoyed it.

Sonic Unleashed: It's fun, overhated in my opinion.

Sonic 4 ep 1 and 2: Not the worst things ever, but I don't see much reason to play them again.

Sonic Generations: My second favorite in the franchise.

I actually unironically like pretty much every main Sonic game, 3D or no.
I like Sonic Adventure 1/2, Heroes, Unleashed, Colors, Generations, and even Shadow the Hedgehog.
Okay, the last one may be a little ironic. It does have good parts though. They all do.

The only 3D Sonic game I actually hate is Sonic 06.
I haven't played Lost World, and I'm not touching Boom in a million years.

As for my favourite though, Colors or Generations, no contest.
