If I didn't think the article was well written it wouldn't be on the site. You provided rational for your opinions whichnis important. Where's this guy's justification for his claims? If it's just "I don't like it" then frankly that's not enough.

I kind of expect the hater base to grow. It's really a sign that Source Gaming is growing, if anything. I don't expect everyone to agree with us or our opinions and there isn't much we can do about it besides trying our best on everything we do.
Yeah, it just can't be helped. I actually put a lot of effort in the article, but I wholeheartedly say that Ganondorf's moveset is far from perfect. It just happened to be Falcon-cloned due to very specific circumstances that stand out even more than any other clone character in the series. Of course, those are all points I state in the article.

It's easy to tell the people who have clearly read the article from those who haven't. I do welcome constructive criticism, positive or negative.

Then again, it's GFAQs. It's not a very pleasant place. Hard to believe it used to be better, but that was years ago.

Dat 1.1.2 Smash 4 update tho
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/axfj/update/index.html

Crappy Bing translation: Nintendo HP Posted notice of delivery of "Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Nintendo 3DS" update data (Ver. 1.1.2)
I want to say this is fixing the Diddy glitch but the 3DS got the update too.

The plot thickens.

Who here have recently have upload his last level on SMM? (I mean like the last level you can upload until you get enough star.) For me, i have just finish my 10 level and i am going to write all the ID and name on my computer. Like that, it will be easier for me to show my level to anyone.

Oh look, a new patch. Probably fixing the Diddy glitch and making a few more adjustments.

Probably because the Diddy glitch isn't the only thing they want to change.

That glitch wasn't in the 3DS version, after all.

Glad to see they got the glitch fixed in such a short time. It hasn't even been a week since the latest patch's release.

LucarioDude LucarioDude I see someone is a Haikyuu!! fan. :p Not into sports anime, though I've been hearing a lot about that series lately. lol

Well, get ready for conspiracy theories

I guess it isn't the time for me for talking about SMM.

Also, i think that uploading image doesn't work now.

Maybe those placeholders will mysteriously disappear and all that's left is a file named Nomorecharactersstophackingourdata.exe

Is there any logical reason for the 3DS fix to be bigger than the Wii U one?
As far as I can tell, not really.

The only way I could justify that would be if both versions were coded completely different somehow, which admittedly is possible, but quite a stretch considering the difference in memory.

262 MB is much more than 60 MB. It's around 4.3 times the amount of data.

Yeah, it really is great to see that they're on top of things very quickly. The Diddy Kong glitch was a pretty big deal though so I'm sure that was a top priority if anything.

Oh man, Haikyuu!! is so great. Trust me, I wasn't really a fan of sports anime but I gave it a shot with Kuroko no Basket and instantly loved it. Haikyuu!! is one of my favourites though. I'd say give it a shot even if you're not really into sports or volleyball.

How bigs a stage? Could that extra space be there for one?
No idea, but the difference between 262 MB and 60 MB is so big, it can't be just different coding.

To note: a music file with around 3 minutes of length is around 3 MB. A video of around 1 minute is around 20 MB.

Code is text and text is one of the least consuming kind of information. Even a large text file doesn't have as much memory as media files such as music or videos.

So, a lot of content must be in those extra 202 MB on the 3DS version.

I wonder if it's better to pre-load some content in the code that's about to go up into the 3DS version before it goes up so it makes downloading easier?

We need a data miner. PushDustIn PushDustIn

I'm actually not sure how much space a character takes.

Though if Dream Land on the Wii U is 64 KB, I imagine it may be less on the 3DS version, since the textures have a slightly lower resolution.

So a patch is being released to fix the Diddy Kong bug? I don't honestly think anything substantial is going to be released along side it. Although, the big file size of the 3DS Version's update does raise some certain questions.

Character is also 64 KB on the Wii U version.
Well...

Putting things in perspective: 202 MB = 206848 KB

Assuming each character and stage is 64 KB, 206848 KB would be enough room for 3232 characters/stages. Seriously, wtf.

Either my math is off or maybe 64 KB might not be the actual size of a character/stage in its entirety... Perhaps it's not counting the textures or something? Images do take more space: one of my wallpapers exceeds 300 KB.

Yeah, I'd imagine there would be more to it than 64 KB lol :p

All I can see with the reason they have a huge patch is because they may be making some big changes to the base game. Other than that, it seems confusing to have this monster of a patch if they're just going to fix a miniscule bug.

To be fair that happened with a Marth bugfix from July
