You know, if there was one Namco rep I would want, it would be the prince from Katamari Damaci. Mainly for two reasons.

One, the music.

Two...do you realize just how insane that stage would be? Fighting ontop of the giant ball, objects attacking you. Would be the most insane stage ever. And I would love it so much.

Disco Prince would be a cool song to hear while the characters duke it out.

I strangely can't picture how a Katamari stage would look in retrospect however.

How would you feel about another Sega representative?

The catch is: it can not be another Sonic character and must originate from either the Master System, Genesis / Mega Drive, or Saturn.

Would you mind it or would you not? Any picks?

I couldn't care less, as I would want either a second Sonic character or Kireek from PSO, and neither come from those consoles.

At best, a transition stage that has the ball rolling in the background with stuff flung onto the battle field. Right before it comes towards you to pick it up, the stage transitions to another part of the stage. I also just want this song in Smash 4.

I'd totally be up for another Sega character being in Smash.

Arle Nadja would be my non-Sonic Sega choice, although I'm not sure if she completely meets the criteria you mentioned since she was more of a Compile character than a Sega one starting out. I first got into the Puyo Puyo series by playing a bunch of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine before recently picking up Puyo Pop Fever and really like Fever's art style and quirky characters (the fact that the English voice for Yu sometimes says "who ya gonna call" when you get a combo is hilarious to me). It seems to me like Puyo Puyo is one of the few Sega franchises aside from Sonic that's consistently getting new games released, even if they tend to be Japan-only, so I think Arle makes sense in Smash from a recency perspective too. She would also offer a completely new moveset.

I knew most of you would say main roster, but I was just curious to see how many people would say it lol.

Now in terms of my take on my whole question, its really divided for me. The main roster will always be the one I go to no matter what. That being said, DLC really helps the game in a way.

You can get more fighters that couldn't get in due to others fighters being more important or the realizaton of fan demand after game development. It does suck though that you have to pay for it and DLC does get a bad rep in today's day in age .

I still say though the main roster will always be more important to me.

And I once again stand by my point that if this was how content was planned out, they should of spread out the characters across the two updates after E3. It was WAY to front loaded, and it just makes the rest seem paltry in comparison.

Currently, completely unhyped for this update. Maybe we can at least get some decent balance changes..

I said that a text leak from Gamefaqs > a text leak from 4chan.
Which cannot be denied, because while Gamefaqs has a shoddy track record, it's better than having a track record of 0.

I know. You could definitely tell as Lucas looked completely done in the April 1st Direct. So I assume they held him off so he could be with released alongside Ryu and Roy.
