Well, considering Miyamoto himself stated that he wouldn't trust Dr. Mario to give him a checkup, I'm pretty sure they'd chuck pills at you anyway.

Best Mario game?

2D: Super Mario World/World 2: Yoshi's Island. They are my childhood.
3D: Galaxy 1 and a bit of 2. I loved Galaxy to death, and it was my first 3D Mario game at the time. 2 was fine, but I felt 1 was a better package for what it was. Plus, the "unneeded" backstory of Rosie. Despite what others think, I've always a Mario game with a bit of story but not something that got in the way of the classic platforming formula. Something to make the adventure a bit more 'unique' than previous games, and that's what Galaxy did for me.

Worst Mario game?

Ones I've played: Mario's Time Machine. Just, WHY.
Ones I've seen and will never play:

The best Mario games are Super Mario World, Mario Maker, and Super Mario Galaxy for me. Those were the grandest Mario experiences for me personally.

Non main game: Paper mario TYOD
runner up: Mario RPG
then: Super Paper Mario
and finally: Paper Mario 64.
As for the Mario Party Series: I like 2, haven't played 1, and I have played 6,7,8,9, advanced, and DS.
I really like 7, but 2 my favorite of the series.

Least Favorite: While there hasn't been a Mario game I've played that I hated, I would have to say New Super Mario Bros 2.

I agree, it's a fun little game, but nothing too spectacular.

I loved 3d land. It got a bit repetitive but all around the game was pretty solid. Also playable luigi makes everything better.

All you youngsters and your lack of respect for the classics. I'll have to say my favorite is Lost Levels just to balance it out, although it's pretty much tied with SMB3, SMW, and SM64.

idk why I am posting this but we spend 2m pages on it sio why not?

My favorite mario game is TTYD and tbh, it;s just because it;s actually the best game I played......period. I won;t go into details as to why because first, this will take forever and second, I'm impressed if I didn;t said why already......

What I am going to say is how I never thought this could EVER happen. When I played ssbm, it became the reason why I love video games, that love leading to go deep and even realising how awesome computer logic are to study in com[puter science love it so far), I learned so much of how much a game can be considered and imo is a form of art and just how insanely detailed and engineered a game can be. If it wasn;t for ssbm, you wouldn;t see me post thousands of time abotu them

So, to think that ANY game coudl top that was for me "silly" and "impossible", however, TTYD reached that impossibility for a reason: it's the first game that has and is still influencing me directly now. SSBm became less and less important as I moved on to other game while TTYD.....it jsut never got down. I could play TTYD at any time and STILL would replay it and even if yopu might argue that I can say this for the entire series except SS, TTYD however did it in the most polished and insane way possible. To me, this game bring me enjoyment in a revolutionary way and it's also the only game that nailed EXACTLY all my tastes so @Frostwraith saying that "it was like made for me", it;s not a joke cause it;s the truth kinda.

Now, I still play games a lot and I did asked me this question if NOW, is it possible that I one day play a game that is imo better?

.....I have to say it isn't impossible (especially considering the series isn't dead) but ohhhhhh boy, it;s hard. Like, TTYD not being perfect, it;s so close that I hardly believe I would expect it to happen, if it happens, call me super impressed.....

Am still trying to play through Mario 64, but I'm just not having fun with it. I get that it was revolutionary and speed runs are popular, but like the Sonic Adventure series I think it's aged horribly.

World is probably my favorite game of all time.
