Potentially yes, but I'm not sure it'd be the exact same considering AZ's Florette got a ~180 BST boost from the regular one and I can't see them breaking Greninja that much.

Regarding the Ash Greninja, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was spiky-eared Pichu. Obviously we're dealing with much more drastic design shifts here than just one different ear, and it may well be a Mega, but I feel like -- particularly with a Pokemon as popular as Greninja -- they'd go a little more all-out with a Mega Greninja.

That's just my initial reaction, though.

As for Megas I want...I'm honestly not really dying for any, most of the Pokemon that I'd be interested in seeing a Mega on are Pokemon I'd rather get a regular evolution. But if that's out of the question (and I have concerns that it is) I want:

• Mega Tropius
• Mega Castform
• Mega Maractus

Since my knowledge and interest in the competitive side of Pokemon is extremely lacking it's more for "I like this Pokemon and think they have some untapped potential" than anything. The former two are two of my favorites, Maractus is just a Pokemon that hasn't really caught my attention but it's a cool Pokemon in one of my favorite gens so I'd like to have a reason to pay more attention to it.

Charizard needs a best of both worlds design. People seem to prefer X, mostly for the typing and the cool color scheme, but Y has a vastly superior silhouette. Charizard X with Charizard Y's giant wings and longer tail would be sweet. Gotta lose those forearm rudders, tho.

Calling Pokemon Z's plot now.

When Lysandre's lab got destroyed in XY, one room survived & in that room a computer was working on the Zygarde Blob.

22 years later the Blob matured, but to reach its Perfect form it needed to absorb Yvetal & Xerneas which where dead in this time line, so it traveled back in the past, where he succeeded & then "Perfect" Zygarde announced the Zygarde games.

Every Pokemon region send their finest warrior (Johto for example send Chuck, who calls every technique Zygarde uses "a simple trick") but offcourse nobody is strong enough to take on Zygarde, besides Lucario(voiced by Sean Schemmel) & his cohorts.

Sadly Zygarde succeeds in killing Lucario, so his son Riolu releases its rage & achieves the form of Mega Evolution 2.

The final highlight of the story will be an epic Aura Sphere clash between Riolu & Zygarde, with Spirit Lucario guiding Riolu in beating Zygarde once & for all.

Pokemon Z's post game will be barren though, so once again no Battle Frontier, because Game Freak finds it way to difficult for its younger audience, but they are kind enough to give us a teaser for the next game, which will have Mewtwo Return as "Golden Mewtwo"
