Well, all Swamp said was that there was a reason Metroid was highly ranked among bad fanbases. A worse fanbase doesn't technically debunk or really affect what he said at all.

And in fairness, while the sort of thinking he uses is symptomatic of the problems in the Sonic fanbase and I'd definitely argue that that fanbase is one of the worst, that video itself only proves that people do embarrassing things when they're younger, which I think most of us have already proved at some point or another.

Still, can we agree that his videos are painful?

Full-blown villain -> Bowser, Bowser Jr., Koopalings, Ganondorf, Ridley, Porky, Dark Samus, Mother Brain
Has history of nastiness but they also have heroic traits -> King Dedede, Wario, Viridi
Not quite villains, but oppose the hero if they get in their way -> Meta Knight, Dark Pit

I didn't finish Other M, though I plan to, but I actually enjoyed the combat and presentation. It was a bit repetitive after a while, but finishing moves were pretty dope. I actually want them to revisit that gameplay style, but just clean up the controls and add a bit more variety to finishers.

Playing 100-Mario mode in SMM. Ten levels ranging from trivial to still really easy, and then I got my ass handed to me by #11 (~60 deaths). Currently waiting for time to run out on #13, since I apparently had to break three columns of bricks with a Koopa shell and have no way to get it to respawn.

Here's the thing that people never caught on about. Capcom USA and Playstation's US/EU channel hasn't posted anything yet at all and we haven't gotten a official render released to the public yet neither the trailer.

1.) Go onto Miiverse.
2.) Make a post about the Shovel Knight rumor.
3.) Wait for a little bit.
4.) Report my self using an alt account on Miiverse for Spoilers.
5.) Get a Miiverse Mods attention.
6.) Wait for them to take down the Miiverse post as that could indicate something is up.

Not the most efficient plan as the Miiverse mods are notorious for being weird, but what do you guys think?

Here's a thought. It's 14 years later, and that mindset is why there are people in America that are probably afraid to leave their homes on Sept 11 if they are Middle Eastern, because people still harass them about it a decade and a half later. Also, Japan and the rest of the world shouldn't be limited to what they can do because of Americans being iffy about something. Notice we didn't get a reveal on the US sites or anything, like RDG said? The US sites know it'll get a ton of 9/11 jokes and stuff so I'm sure that's why it's holding off, but nobody else in the world cares; and honestly they really shouldn't care. I agree with "Never Forget" because it was a horrible incident, but you can't censor stuff forever, especially things that don't need to be censored.

Edit: Although unfortunately I see that it's now Trending on Facebook and Twitter that a Middle Eastern character was revealed today, so a lot of people are now aware and causing a fuss anyway. But honestly, it shouldn't matter at all.
