Tbh i feel a lot of retros and nintendo owned characters got the short end of the stick.i just find it odd how smashboards says they want more nintendo characters but besides the popular smashboards characters(isaac,paper mario,k rool,ridley,etc) all good choices were given 3 or lower

I don't think Yokai Watch has the power to rival Pokemon, honestly. An article posted a few days ago here said it was even struggling in Japan, so how America would revive it is beyond me. And it's not a case like Metroid where it has a better Western than Eastern fanbase(if it even has one here).

And with that said, the chances for a YW rep in Smash, as DLC to boot, is unlikely.

for me, it;s more the fact that they took down tas that urks me.

I know what tas is and I have been loving the tas and rta community for at least 2 years so seeing their video got down for not much pertinent reasons really annoys me and it just makes me wish nintendo would improve more in that department (they are improving, but they still have work to do).

I didn't mean it like that :D. I meant that it hasn't really reached that recognizable status that other Nintendo games have yet (at least in NA). Like if I were to talk to certain individuals who own a 3DS, but are a casual Nintendo gamer, they would know at least what Fire Emblem is. While they probably wouldn't know what Yokai Watch was.

Now I admit, I may be misjudging it since it hasn't came out in America yet. But, I still feel as if the franchise has yet to mature. Mainly due to the fact that it hasn't reached that international crowd yet. It especially hasn't developed a massive fanbase yet (that I can recall). The franchise really needs to get to other countries so it can get to different audiences. That's why I don't see a rep getting into Smash 4. But I digress, it's only my opinion .

Nintendo's automated claiming system on YouTube is rather broken, since it'll be set off at the slightest provocation.

Totalbiscuit mentions this in his video regarding the Day One: Gary's Incident copyright abuse scandal on his channel, the "provocation" being a few seconds of Pokemon X/Y footage in a 3 hour video podcast he collaborated in.
