Speaking of Tingle, I wonder why there seems to be a trope in Japanese media of wierd characters having big pink noses, especially when Japan's general art style forgets to draw noses at all.

It's also seen on Wario and Waluigi but it works with the general "villains are ugly" things we got going on.

Personally, I'd be interested in a poll of how much people want characters from each represented (and maybe a few common unrepresented) series; the vast majority of the characters seem to have 1 leading by a fair margin, and at least in my case, I probably voted a little lower on characters I sort of cared about, but greatly less than others from the same series.
