IGN has 3 pages on Reggie's speech. His speech was not the entire summit.

Well,in the last Paragraph of Reggie's speech,I found this:

Whether you're a hardcore or first-time player, it all boils down to this -- it all boils down to a definition of fun. It's not enough to define fun just based on things looking a little bit better; they've got to feel a whole lot better. I hope you're going to get that feeling when you're upstairs demoing these games. Speaking of which, although Reggie made a reference to the games being demo'd upstairs IGN captioned one of the pictures in the article with

Sweet, sweet Samus -- if only Reggie had demoed you.

What's the real story..we'll find out at the end of the week.

Anyway, they said Reggis didn't demo Metroid--that doesn't necessarily mean there wasn't a demo.
Though I do wonder if Nintendo will or will not show off their Big 3. You never know...they might be stubborn and wait until E3--which does, despite popular belief, still exist.

Well guys, I think this is the final nail in the coffin.

Brawl didn't turn up at all at the Summit. It was only briefly mentioned in Reggie's speech. In fact, the whole summit was focused more on casual gaming instead of core.
