Well, there was a glitch in the demo so maybe they really are perfecting it as well as the monetary reason.

I'm actualy no longer mad at nintendo because this explanation makes sense and is easier on my wallet. That is to say I will still be spending the same amount but it won't be at once...

Its not as if the game is finished, packaged and in storage.
Theyre using this time to improve, add and balance.

Come on, now.

What company isn't all about the money? Name a single company like that. This inst just a group of friend's who do this for fun, people do this for a living.

Just because people are doing stuff for the money doesn't mean it wont be quality.

Be happy people who actually love the game, and want quality are making it.
LOL that brings me back to that Boondocks episode. "Name one good Black Fighter, just one. What, you gonna pull Ali out yo' ass?"

This also explains why it's so easy to find ****ty games on Wii, they must have decided to take some funds from the Quality Assurance department and use it on that stuff they smoke.

It's coming together now.

Easy? Too easy. I woke up yesterday, rubbed my eyes, looked at my empty wallet and copies of Mario Party 8, and Carnival Games on my TV, rubbed my eyes and cried.

This makes less sense seeing as I don't smoke pot, or drink.

Any topic with "Delay" or "release date" in it is NintendoWarrior bait. Seriously.

As far as the dates validity, the Japanese were never given a stone date to hype them up like we were. Now suddenly they have. That probably counts for something.

The Japanese don't really need a stone release date. If they were smart, they'd storm Sakurai's house yelling,"***** GIMME MY **** BRAWL!"......no offense to any japanese people here:)

I apologize for my biased post.

But, of course it got delayed also for bugs/glitches/additions, etc. But it's according to whose perspective you're getting an answer from.

I can't recall her name right now, but she said mainly because it was a good day to release because of sells. She also went on to say it'll be more time to perfect the game, pretty much. But what stood out was mainly the selling issue.

But, from Sakurai's view, I'm sure he agreed to delay because he wants to perfect the game, yet he thinks about the money second.

Nice Cover!!!
yeah, there's more to it than that. I'm still thinking a Brawl Wi-Fi 2.0.

They already had the delay planned for a long long time it had nothing to do with makeing the game better! You are a complete idiot to think that it was not only for marketing

Rarely does any delay come from simply marketing alone >>

Here's the thing about the delay. is, it has to be more then MINOR glitches and bugs. If its getting that close, they can hire more people to sort these out and it wouldn't be a problem. I also don't think there are MAJOR bugs, because after all, they got a demo out at E for All. Money is a factor, but a secondary one, the game will sell whenever its released. A year from now people arn't going to go, Oh yeah it was released in Feb, it must be good. No a good game is immortal, so to speak.

One of 2 reasons I believe. They have more ideas, great ideas, ideas they couldn't possibly pass up on, thats how great they are. Delay the game while it's not too late.

Second reason, they have a ton more characters to add, and they realize they need more time to balance them out (could be with items as well)

We might see ANOTHER delay, but at this point, if its for the better, I'm for it, but I do want it eventually!

Actually from a sales standpoint, they would have released it a week before Halo 3 if they wanted sales. Selling it after Christmas is dumb because most people spent all their money on Christmas. From a financial standpoint, better to delay it out to May or April or something.

I accepted the Delay now... although it sucks thinking that we'd only be about 30 days away from the game at this point...

I still play Sonic Adventure 2, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 AND DD as well as having an all out old-school day every random Sunday where we play nothnig but Super Nintendo and N64. First smash bros ftw?
