Way back when, the NFL didn't have overtime. And thanks to tonight's game, the series is now lead by pats; 53-52-1. I wasn't even aware ties could have been done in the NFL.
This is wrong. Over time has always been around.Way back when, the NFL didn't have overtime.
LMAOI'm surprised no one remembers Donovan McNabb's Overtime fiasco in his last year with Philly. He thought there was gonna be a second OT, but it ended in a tie.
"I didn't know you could have a tie."
It seems as if losing one game has completely changed their entire culture way more than it should have. I guess look for them to continue in their old ways... However, as easy as it is to write them off, they did get off to a good start and can still finish strong. It's hard to believe in Detroit now especially remembering the last time they got off to a good start: (6-2 record, and then dropped all the way to 6-7 right after that back in 2007) but there's no reason why they should endlessly tank after such an impressive start. Well, other than the fact that they are the Detroit Lions. >.<Detroit's not making the playoffs.
Yep, I remember that. I believe they tied with the Bengals... I also remember that apparently a few years back before that day they ran into Atlanta in the playoffs who had a tie that season. Under that circumstance, people thought it was a lot more silly what Donovan had to say after that game.I'm surprised no one remembers Donovan McNabb's Overtime fiasco in his last year with Philly. Their offensive run game is good because of their run defense???The Texans run game has only been good, because they have(had) a respectable run D.
Not that their season will now fall apart without Schaub, but games will get alot closer.
My bad i meant to say QB, don't know why i typed Run D.Their offensive run game is good because of their run defense???
Everytime I hear Detroit...I think this.man looking at the remaining games left for the bears, they have it real easy compared to detroit lolol. poor detroit just cant get to the playoffs lol
Source: Rotoworld.Nnamdi Asomugha was only on Larry Fitzgerald for 20-of-46 pass plays in Sunday's loss, according to Philly.com.
Asomugha bottled up Fitzgerald on those 20 plays, holding the stud receiver without a reception on two targets. But on the other 26 plays, Fitzgerald got off for seven catches, 146 yards and two touchdowns.
we didnt choke, we just werent good enough to begin with LOLI still think detroits making the playoffs, but itll likely be as the 6th seed and they will be one and done. Will choke in the playoffs because they've never been there before. I've seen it happen all to often.
Take Kansas city last year.
Now the Bills, on the other hand, aren't making the playoffs. I've felt this way even before they starting going south. Too hard a division, and the AFC is way more difficult than the NFC.
Nice to see another Niner fan on this board. With that rotoworld source, well...that was what Nnamdi was paid to do. At the same time though, I have seen Nnamdi get burned by several no name receivers this year. He's at that age where CBs do start to decline. Clearly should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Revis.I'm really disappointed with the Eagles, as is the rest of the world. Juan Castillo seems like the worst defensive coordinator ever. Check out this blurb:

but champ bailey and woodson are still great cornerswasnt castillo a o-line coach or something last season?Though his lack of success may also have to do with Juan Castillo's schemes. I read somewhere he likes to employ a lot of zone looks which confuses the heck out of me on why you would do that when you have 3 legit corners.
Patriots / Jets essentially. But in all seriousness, I was debating the AFC East playoff contenders... and aside from Miami... they all look pretty sharp. I honestly think that the Bills have a chance of seizing it this year, even with their recent embarassing defeat(s). And if not... obv Pats. Discuss?
