True. Actually, idea. What if Glass Joe us in the ring for the first round of the final boxer, but then he gets squashed because he’s Glass Joe, and then you actually fight the Champ.
Who is Mike Tyson. And you also fight Ip Man , Mohamed Ali and Floyd Mayweather.

its not uncommon for stories to end like that
But Mother 2 and 1 set up Sequels Directly!
as
Gyiyg swears Revenge on Ninten and Porky swears Revenge on Ness although weidly they always choose another one to get the Revenge instead!

Yo so that Three Hopes demo... Love it so far! 👌🏼 It tells the story of Three Houses better than Three Houses did. And that's after finishing the prologue. A must play for everyone who enjoyed Three Houses.

Three Houses felt like it ran out of budget in several areas. I'm not surprised if Koei Tecmo wanted to expand upon it further.

I appreciate 3H's effort a lot, but maybe they shouldn't have blown the budget on voice acting...

Wouldn't be surprised if Koei Tecmo does the Persona 5 Royal thing and releases an extensive update to 3H that can't be contained in DLC and is forced to be a new release entirely.

is there non-humanoid characters you guys want in smash?
You know, I'm somewhat interested in the prospect of a mounted character, whether that be on a horse or a motorcycle.

Any of the love interest peg knights from Fire Emblem could work, or they can bring in Mach Rider or an Excitebiker.

In that regard, could not Wario be such a character? I am writing this because Wario also has a motorcycle in the Super Smash Bros. series.

I'm talking about a character that stays on their horse or motorcycle all the time. Not someone who just temporarily pulls it out.

I understand, but is not it a little difficult to do that? Anyway, your idea is good.

I think they should wait another ~5 years and just remake it. I'm imagining something like the SotC/Demon's Souls remakes: barely changed mechanically, but the graphics are redone from the ground up. Assuming the next Nintendo system is roughly as strong as the PS4 Pro, I think this would be very successful, you're taking a beloved game with weak graphics and making them a selling point.

Laboman I think could come as a newcomer to the next Super Smash Bros. and his moves are based on Nintendo Labo toys and his Final Smash be the Robot Kit.

I'm not referring to running out of budget for graphics, I'm referring to how parts of the game seem a bit rushed or unfinished, like the Crimson Flower route or Silver Snow and Verdant Wind being carbon copies. Also, quite a bit of maps are reused no matter what the route.

I compared it to Persona 5 because I've seen that many fans consider vanilla Persona 5 to be unfinished in hindsight after Royal.

crimson flower was a late addition to the game

What if we compared that with Sony IE? Like I said earlier, they seem to prefer to regularly release major IPs that just come and go mostly rather than maintain older ones as long as possible.
This was harder to do and may contain some errors due to having a less concrete sourcing method than I did for Nintendo (thank you Spirit Catalogue). But regardless, here's where I'd place them. Once again I tried to stay away from one-offs.

Alive:

Astro Bot
Everybody's Golf
God of War
Gran Turismo
Horizon: Zero Dawn
The Last of Us
LittleBigPlanet
Ratchet and Clank
Uncharted
Until Dawn
Wipeout

Dormant:

Knack
Locoroco
Medievil
Twisted Metal

Dead:

Ape Escape
Buzz!
Fat Princess
Gravity Rush
inFamous
Jak and Daxter
Jetmoto
KillZone
Motorstorm
Patapon
Rally Cross
Resistance
Siren
Sly Cooper
Syphon Filter
Vib-Ribbon
Warhawk
Wild Arms

So I was thinking about the Super-Specials or Smash-Specials concept that's thrown around here sometimes and while it's not something I've ever really considered on my own before I'm starting to understand the application of the idea could very well spice up the game in the same way my other moveset expansion ideas would. My defacto main already has this concept and I'm surprised I hadn't considered it moving to the rest of the cast before seeing the idea discussed here.

I think there are 2 applications to the idea currently in-game and unless somebody here can get creative I think that's the extent of how this potential mechanic could be universally applied to the entire cast. We have the Cloud model and the Joker model. Cloud's specials dramatically improve while Joker's kind of gets everything by being in an empowered state. There's one more layer to consider with how they acquire their meter. Cloud can actively generate his meter while Joker must appropriately time landing what is essentially a counter with it quite literally becoming one in the empowered state.

I think both of these models are an acceptable approach and would be dispersed throughout the cast on a case-by-case basis. You could even mix the 2 layers with having a character actively generate their Super-Special meter to get into an empowered Arsene-esque state and another where timing your counters powers up your individual specials dramatically for one hit.

The only thing about this application is that these Super-Special meter mechanics (the charge/counter) would require their own unique button I feel like because you can't just get rid of everyones' Down-Specials to fit them there. I think it'd be perfectly fine though since there's already room for this on either the X or Y buttons.

These could also be uniquely themed if the character warrants it like Cloud's and Joker's are already in the game. Otherwise it'd just be a generic meter I feel like though maybe the graphic design team could have some fun and all some charm by giving each character's meter appropriate aesthetical flair.

Oh well it's just a super interesting proposal I feel like. Coupled with some of my other moveset expansion ideas like Aerial-Smash-Attacks, Super-Smash-Attacks (Terry's Go command inputs attacks given to the cast see my moveset expansion ideas for a deeper dive if interested) universal counters (could take the spot of either X or Y button as well) and a competitive Final Smash overhaul (again deeper dive in my moveset expansion ideas in my signature) would REALLY spice up this game tremendously.

I don't think a universal super meter needs a universal way to charge it tbh. I think the standard fighting game method of it charging by landing hits and taking hits will be just fine.

Certain characters can certainly have their own ways to charge it. In addition to Cloud and Joker's existing ways, we can also make it so that Ness and Lucas's PSI Magnet can steal super charge if it hits, essentially how it works in the MOTHER series.

About Final Smash being competitive: I think that's a lost cause that's best left as an uber-powerful unique item that isn't meant to be balanced.

Just a head's up, we're already getting Pokemon leaks.

Just gonna rip off the band-aid: Sprigatito IS bipedal.

Seriously, what the absolute hell is with entitled Pokéfans ******** about Starters being bipedal?

I consider that complaint as ridiculous as complaining about Sonic's green eyes, and that complaint started as a joke before somehow morphing into an unironic complaint.

I almost feel that if they move away from starters being bipedal, they'll complain about the Starters being tetrapods or vertebrates.

I wonder what it would be like if there was a video game centaur-like character and then he came as a newcomer to the next Super Smash Bros. game.

I feel it has something to do with how most people would rather have the Pokemon stay close to being like IRL animals, and that having them be bipedal breaks the illusion? Not entirely sure.

That's something I suspected myself.

But really, cartoonifying a real-life animal is honestly every bit as boring as sticking a face on an inanimate object, if not more so. At least with the latter, they need to put in the work to make it look like a living creature. For the former, wow they just bought a wildlife photography book and made their own stylized art of that. A five-year old can do that too.
