exactly, I don't think that Hyrule warriors deserves a whole month of directs to itself. This is the last set of directs b4 the 3ds release in Japan.
okay, I'm just silly. So maybe a couple days/weeks after the Hyrule warriors direct??
I know this is off topic, but I really can't wait for the Hyrule Warrior's Direct, I want to see if there'll be a decent storhline going on. Eitherway, they been had me sold and I also do hope we get aanother Smash Direct. After all, if I was a game dev and knew my stuff wold be leaked, I'd leak it myself before anyone else does.
I don't exactly think we'll get a reveal on Sunday. :<
Well, I'm personally hoping for a Zelda newcomer reveal at the end of the hyrule warriors trailer, but I guess we'll find out.
idk, I really don't see that happening for some reason. I feel like we may get a mini direct for smash.
I was thinking the monday after. Prob a Kirby or Kid Icarus reveal? Bandana Dee, Hades, (hopefully not the following

Yeah idk to be honest. I'm not gonna hype myself for this one. There's definitely going to be a character reveal in August imo, but if it does happen to be a Zelda newcomer it would be opportune to put it at the end of the Hyrule Warriors direct.
i hyped for the direct just because i plan on getting hyrule warriors, but im surprised its getting a direct because of how often koei is putting out info for the game.
Instead of giving us a trailer, they can just give us Ganondorf via pic of the day on Monday or Release. ^^
I've never actually played a 'Warriors' style game before, so I can't say I'm hyped for it. However, it does look like a fun game to get into, and being Zelda themed will make it easier. Might do that to hold me over to smash. If I finish Bravely Default xD
If we see ganondorf as an update that day, I'd bet on there being no zelda newcomer.
You'll never know, I think there'll be one due to the fact they showed a Kid Icarus Trophy and we got Palutena, then they Showed a Fire Emblem Trophy and we got Lucina and Robin. Now all we need is out Metroid and Zelda newcomer.
That could be complete coincidence though, lol. As much as I would love it to be true (because Ridley), I'm not going to give it any real attention until we get all 4 newcomers haha.
They could pull a Roy and give us that Lana girl from Hyrule Warriors as newcomer/promotion.
I'd like to believe it too. Lol I highly support Ridley but at time time I wouldn't even care because of how many personal favorite characters I have i already!
Hyrule Warriors is a little too new for that to be possible, I think.
Yeah. The newcomers are pretty amazing so far. Still, I've been hoping for Ridley since '06; I'd love for it to finally happen xD
Roy was in Melee before he was in Fire Emblem. But at a second glance, that wouldn't be the case here, as Hyrule Warriors will be out before Smash.
Eh, I dunno, would they actually include a character from a one-time spin-off game into Smash? I imagine that if they want a Zelda newcomer they're going to pick one from the main line, like Tetra or Ganon.
Goron could be really good too, now that I think about it, he's been recurring.
I'd hope not, since we already have other forms of Tetra and Ganon in the game (Toon Link returning is bad enough).
I personally think Toon Link returning is wonderful. After all, if he wasn't returning then I wouldn't see a point of even having two Links. Getting someone from Zelda 2015 though... omg... Definitely room for other major characters, though. A Majora's Mask-inspired Link is always an option, or some of the characters from Skyward Sword (I've not played it yet, though, so it's pointless for me to list candidates). But of course, Anju is the best choice.
They could also pick someone from the Zelda shown at E3 this year, and blow everyone out of the water with the impossibility to predict it. That would actually be pretty cool.
Sakurai does tend to like promoting recent/upcoming games, though. With Hyrule Warriors being in most of August, and Metroid's anniversaries being in August, those two seem the most likely.
August is before October, you know that right? And no, the game will be released in Japan on September 13, so I believe it will be in late August

There is doubt, quite a bit of it. We didn't get any Smash news in the Wonderful 101, Mario Kart, or Pokemon Directs, and I doubt we will get anything now.

The W101 direct was actually a weekly thing in Japan. Ever notice how the video is all divided up? Then the Pokemon direct was basically an extended Iwata asks. The MK direct didn't have anything related that's significant enough to reveal. In fact, the Rosalina trailer could of been intended for the MK direct. It'd make more sense then it just floating out in the middle of a regular Direct.
Yeah I think there will at least be a general Nintendo Direct
