The Eternal Will of the Swarm
NoWorst character idea ever?
he was actually suppose to be in Melee
His chances are good and he would be an unique retro character that would be welcome in Brawl

NoWorst character idea ever?
You've been drinking more of that failurade haven't you? I wonder why so many young people are attracted to it... What's the appeal? It's poisoning your brain, kid. You best stop before it's too late. Don't drink failurade and post!Worst character idea ever?
No. It's exactly that kind of cop-out that denies other characters--and their respective fans--the opportunity to Smash and should be thus ignored and disregarded. All problems are eventually solvable; it's just a matter of time. If anything, the new Havok engine should assuage any difficulties that may have been had in the past while attempting to implement more unusul characters or characters with specific physics requirements.Eh, I say to save time with the problems he could create physically, they should put him in as an invincible assist.
Again, no. This is just ignorant and really warrants little else than a simple denial. No.Worst character idea ever?
This is cool, but I like the DeMille one better?
Feel free to use it.
He's a robot. Smash hasn't had a limbless fighter yet, so I'd think it be pretty original. It hasn't had a robot either.Sukapon... until now did I not know he existed. Let's start with his appearance, very unoriginal and ordinary. He kind of looks like Kirby, but all jello like. To be honest, I thought it was Kirby until I saw all of the body parts flying around. What... is it anyway?
The thing is, those -are- his moves. (Except the Side B) If Sakurai is to stay true to Joy Mecha Fight, then why not pull all his fighting moves from it? Also, he did NOT say he wasn't going to include anymore Japan-only characters. He said he didn't want to include too many, but that he wasn't opposed to the idea of only a few. (Marth, Lucas, Takamaru, Sukapon?)Moving on, your moveset isn't bad, but each move seems like a rehash of the last move. He just doesn't have much going on. And this is a Japan-only character? I could have sworn Sakurai said he wasn't going to include any more Japan-only characters. Didn't he say that? I thought so.
Nintendo should honor their first fighting game by putting it's main character in their modern fighting franchise. Let us hope he does not become an Assist Trophy. That Devil character is a Japan-only character, but he's just an assist trophy, and I can almost bet if this... thing makes it into Brawl, he'll be an assist trophy. Actually, he reeks of assist trophy.
What? They'd just have to give him invisible arms and legs. It's not hard...While having floating limbs gives Sukapon unparalleled reach, it also means 6 disjointed hitboxes, all of which are vulnerable to other attacks at the same time. Though it might not make much sense that damage dealt to his hands affects his body, it's really the only way to balance him out; otherwise, you'd have to KO his different body parts separately, which would be annoying as hell. And if he does get knocked back, his limbs just retreat to a "neutral" position like any other smasher's damage animation.
Now try and argue that he won't work for Brawl.
N/M why not? What? They'd just have to give him invisible arms and legs. It's not hard...
Well, I thought about it, and if they gave him very skinny arms, legs, and neck but didn't texture them, then they would appear invisible, and he would be able to be attacked in these areas. It's not complex at all... He would be like any other character really. You just wouldn't be able to see his arms or legs. (It might look strange through various particle effects though, that's why they would be so skinny, so you may not notice it during the fast action battles)N/M why not?
Can they do that?
Sukapon is a robot created by Dr. Little Ermin. Originally intended to be a comedian robot that would make people laugh, he was reconfigured to do battle with the robots controlled by the evil Dr. Ivan Warunachi. All of the robots in the game lack limbs; it's not just Sukapon.I'm sorry, I totally hate this idea, but I'm going to explain why, so don't flame me... yet.

It's too bad it takes up space that could be used for Ridley though. Although, since Ridley is a shoe-in, I figured I should show more support for Sukapon since he isn't quite garunteed.I like this Sukapon, why? 'cause Oasis's sig is amazing.
i am not a Sukapon supporter, but...Rayman..????ya know, Rayman is a better version that Sukapon, why would you want sukapon, he looks boring. jus sayin, at least Rayman has a unique look.
I'm going to assume you're comparing Sukapon to Rayman because neither of them have limbs. Aside from that, do they really have much else in common? Sukapon is much more likely than Rayman, IMO.ya know, Rayman is a better version that Sukapon, why would you want sukapon, he looks boring. jus sayin, at least Rayman has a unique look.
Play Joy Mech Fight and then you'll know why we all want Skapon (in addition to what Oasis said, which I couldn't have said better). =PI'm sorry, I totally hate this idea, but I'm going to explain why, so don't flame me... yet.

people already went "who is Knuckle Joe??" when he was updated on the dojo.I wonder, when Brawl is released or Sukapon is (hopefully) confirmed on the Dojo, if there will be a bunch of 'Who is Sukapon?' threads while we are happily rejoicing here. I'm not sure how well known he is, but i'd imagine he's not on very many people's lists.
Sukapon for Brawl.

Agreed. The characters do not act the same way at all, and Sukapon is DEFINITELY more likely for Brawl.I'm going to assume you're comparing Sukapon to Rayman because neither of them have limbs. Aside from that, do they really have much else in common? Sukapon is much more likely than Rayman, IMO.
*sigh* Yes, sadly, we will be seeing tons of "LIEK DUDE WTF IS SPANKO?!", along with 50-odd threads created for rather inane reasons that could--and SHOULD--be discussed right here.I wonder, when Brawl is released or Sukapon is (hopefully) confirmed on the Dojo, if there will be a bunch of 'Who is Sukapon?' threads while we are happily rejoicing here. Oh, Kero...You all make good and valid points, but I still don't like the idea of random pink balls floating in the air (uhh, sorry, but you know what I mean.)
Glad you've joined our side!In all honesty, I used to be anti-Skapon until I actually played Joy Mech Fight. It's a very fun and fluid fighting game with a very quirky sense of humor. Skapon would bring that sense of humor and fluidness to Brawl.
Download an emulator and a ROM! It's as easy as that. If you prefer playing it in your native tongue, however, I might also recommend AlanMidas' translation patch as a nice supplement.Glad you've joined our side!
I wish I could play Joy Mech Fight (though I tend to get really frustrated with fighting games).
Not to mention the fact that, as far as third-party characters go, Rayman has far stiffer competition among favorites such as Sonic, Solid Snake (confirmed), and Geno. Also, Sukapon means quite a bit more to Nintendo, being the main character in Nintendo's first 2-D fighter.I would like to point out that Sukapon came before Rayman.
That would be interesting. Mars became Marth, didn't it? (Then again, I don't know much about Japanese, so that may have been obvious...)I wonder what his name would be in Brawl; Skapon or Sukapon?
