So with Hayabusa, Crash, Reimu and Tracer out of the picture for DLC fighter 5. Who do you guys think it could be?

Until Vergeben says otherwise I think there's the surprise of it being Agumon or someone from Capcom.

I'll be honest, I don't get why people are saying Reimu is "out of the picture" because somebody faked a leak. If fake leaks disqualified characters from appearing in Smash, virtually every single character talked about on this board would already be ruled out. Reimu's chances never changed before, during, or after the leak, because fake leaks have no bearing on what's actually happening with the development of Smash.

Even then, the part people supposedly faked (sketches) was actually never mentioned as a leak.
Thus, the rumor actually never died.

Still sticking to the girls I know best (Morrigan, Saber, Lara, Kos-Mos, etc).

I have a gut feeling we'll be seeing Lara Croft. Just not DLC fighter 5 but post-Pass for certain.

Video game icon, strong video game history for female gaming protagonist and big in the 90's. Be kinda surprised if she didn't make it.

I'm sticking to my guns and thinking Phoenix Wright. The rumors of 2B are super tantalizing but I'm not gonna hold my breath. She's a pipe dream.

Phoenix makes the most sense to me. Professor Layton is also a possibility. We could always have a swerve of course - Agumon is genuinely on the table for example, and there's also the X-factor of a first party coming out of nowhere. But I'll back my lawyer in blue 'til the end. After all, the only time a lawyer can cry is when it's all over.

That's my point of view too. Phoenix has a lot going for him, but there are also a few other characters who are flying under the radar but could happen, like those you mentioned.

You could also add Jibanyan as a contender from Level5 to that equation.

Tbh gonna be real the character with the most sustainable evidence in their favor is Lloyd.

What with the recent trademarks and his voice actor working on a "Secret project" that has yet to have been confirmed, plus Tales' anniversary coming up really soon hell even Sabi has said he's a possibility, I'm starting to lean towards him.

So the current speculation scene is a mess with all of these leaks. I'm just going to trust the people who have a record.

Thr guy who guessed Goemon and Grunt mii costumes, Luminary as the main alt, and no Minecraft content is saying Crash is in? Alright. I can see that.

IamShifty's and Drew's source are saying Hayabusa after PPlant and Marx as a boss? It's something to keep an eye on.

Sabi pretending she has an actual record with Smash Bros and telling people that both of these leaks are wrong? Yeah, screw that.

So we're looking at Crash or Hayabusa in the immediate future here.

The Crash guy has a history of making fake **** and said Crash quite a bit later while people like our insider who's been nothing but trustworthy are saying "Nah it ain't Crash"

On the plus side, if you don't like an inclusion, you can always buy them and use them as a punching bag like Gwen does.

That's something I'm not entirely aware of admittedly but I trust our server's insider as they've been consistently right
