The one thing that annoys me about Isabelle in Smash...

Why doesn't she have her voice?

Ok, I get why the Villager is silent, but she has that gibberish voice. They even used it in her trailer! So why can't she speak in the game?

Yeah it’s just one of those odd quirks of how some characters are portrayed in Smash, like bowser, DK, Diddy, K. Rool animalistic voices or Luigi’s weirdo personality.

I do wish Isabelle would have gotten one of the Animal Crossing emotions as a taunt.

I wonder the same thing regarding Olimar and Alph.

I imagined Isabelle saying “oof!” or “ah!” (when getting hit) in her quick animalese voice not long ago, since I wondered this about her too while playing New Horizons; seems it should’ve been easy to do.

Inkling's the only member of the post-2000s gibberish trio who kept theirs.

I'm actually kinda annoyed that this is just an April fool's prank by Bandai Namco. Because both of these designs look incredible and I want figures of them.

This has always bugged me. Even in the retro games he showed the ability to talk. Yet it's not included at all.

I'm pretty sure Megaman 11 was in development at the same time as Smash ultimate so he HAD a voice actor at the time.

What makes that better/worse is that the planned Banjo Threeie thing got waaay too ****ing big yet instead of toning it down after realizing it's too much of a drag, they added a car and more collectables to justify the size. Then Microsoft saw the car and well, you know the rest. Banjo died of Rare's inability to calm the **** down

I love deadpan Megaman. He's better than the Capcom version imho. As X is supposed to be the first robot with real emotions. So there's no reason Megaman should behave like a little kid, other than ripping off Astro Boy.

This is why Rare isn’t allowed to make Banjo games anymore. Or Playtonic because Yooka-Laylee was pretty bad too... y’know what? Just sell the IP to the Odyssey team.

Dixie, Toad, Waluigi, Isaac, Krystal, Bandana Waddle Dee, Tom Nook, Spring Man, Impa, Tingle, Midna + Wolf Link, Ninten, and Medusa.

I feel like several Nintendo characters are due for Smash but are still missing.
Dixie, Toad, Waluigi, Isaac, Krystal, Bandana Waddle Dee, Tom Nook, Spring Man, Impa, Tingle, Midna + Wolf Link, Ninten, and Medusa.

IMO there's no such thing as being 'due' for Smash. "Deserving it" has never been a criteria characters were chosen by; Smash is a fighting game first and characters are made to fill out the roster -- room on the roster isn't made for characters just because they "deserve" it. IMO the two criteria characters are chosen by are Sakurai's opinion on what they would add to the game, and Nintendo's interest on how they can return on their investment.

This is Satan's game you're proposing, but it's gotta be Sonic and Street Fighter. It would pain me that characters like Alucard, Terra, and Zero would never join Smash, but those two franchises have such massive stables of iconic characters that there's no comparison.
