I actually don’t think Jon is going to troll around with xeno guys. That’ll be too asinine, considering the circumstances that audience has with smash. Trying to troll them over their hope of getting a rep is something I don’t think Nintendo or GameExplain will like. They’re fine with him with leaks because he doesn’t make it obvious he’s leaking anything.

What probably pisses him off is getting his goofy post, about an old Pokémon game in a 2019 TGA, twist into an overdramatized post about smash because of a leaker.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who shares a similar opinion on KOS-MOS. While I mostly care about a character’s moveset at the end of the day, personality is a large part in making characters stand out on such a large roster and is what makes certain characters memorable. For example, despite Captain Falcon being a fairly generic brawler-type character, his taunts and voice lines are iconic to both defining him as a character and defining his place in the Smash scene. KOS-MOS is a character intentionally devoid of personality, and I personally feel that such a character would feel kind of soulless in comparison to who we’ve gotten in the pass so far. A stealthy, classy, and sort of arrogant thief, a valiant and brave hero always ready to tackle anything head on, a bear and bird combo keen on working together and seeing the bright side of every situation, an American brawler defined by near broken English and a tendency to scream out every move he’s doing, to...an emotionally void robot girl with no defining characteristics other than the weapons she wields. I’m sure Sakurai could make her memorable in some way, but to me even her design comes across as a tad generic. For the record, I have never played 3/4 of the games series we’ve gotten characters from so far.

KOS-MOS isn't devoid of personality. In crossovers her seriousness is played for laughs and her straightforward no f***s given attitude has its moments like Spock. She also grew beyond her programming.

With that being said, T-elos is superior in every way and is the perfect foil.

I think he genuinly is speculating, it is not Jon's responsability if Xeno fans get their expectations high, he just says what he thinks all the time, and that makes him attractive.

Displays of fear, courage, sadness, happiness, and other emotions all contribute to one’s personality, and KOS-MOS is incapable of displaying any of these emotions and more. While she would be admittedly unique in comparison to the other pass characters, a lack of emotion is not a personality in my eyes.

Sabi and Vergeben are the tried and true leakers.
And they are both acting coy as **** over KOS-MOS.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for Vergeben to be proven wrong about a leak like he always ends up..he'll have real info for a good while and then end up with bupkis.
For the time being we have his 'Minecraft Content' leak..we haven't had anything in the base game nor any of the current DLC at all..and if Fighter #5 doesn't contain some sort of Minecraft Content than he was wrong on that one (since more DLC past this wouldn't have existed at the point when he made the 'leak').

I got Tails from the gif thing, though it's not fair because Adeleine and Ribbon aren't in the gif so they can't come out.

Now that I think, does "Adeleine & Ribbon" count as a 90's character or as a 2000's character? Kirby's Dream land 3 is from 1997, Kirby 64 is from 2000... Adeleine was introduced as Ado in Kirby 3, but Ribbon only appeared since Kirby 64, also there's this thing that they never explicitly confirmed that Ado and Adeleine are the same character, they decided to leave it open to imagination (they officially stated that it's "unknown", even though they multiple times implicitly hinted at them being the same).
I suppose they'd be considered as a 2000's character because of Ribbon anyway.

Believe it or not that idle animation is actually way friendlier in Smash, where it's more portrayed as playful ribbing
In the original games it just comes off as Kazooie being an asshole

Why would anyone take the speculation of a guy, who clearly states he is speculating, as a troll?

Hey, hypothetical person that doesn't exist, if you're reading this: KOS-MOS won't be Fighter 5, lower your expectations. There, now nobody has anyone to blame except themselves.

For example, Kosmos has more character than Ray from the new Star Wars trilogy.

Well, you're technically right because there is no character called Ray in the new trilogy.
