Sabi & Verge are only deconfirming characters for the next character. There’s always hope for the next wave of DLC.

I’m super bummed about this Resident Evil news. Jill & Leon were two of my most wanted characters, they could’ve been so unique. Jill was the best choice for a third party woman too. :’(

I’m gonna start supporting Dante for my Capcom pick. Though, Phoenix Wright would be awesome too. Or a less talked about pick like Arthur, Haggar, Strider, Morrigan or Frank West. I just love Capcom & want some more of their franchises in Smash lol

Just going to bring up again how weird it is that there’s no Astral Chain or 3 Houses spirits now that we’ve gotten Sword/Shield & super random Resident Evil Spirits. Hmm...

Spirit Board Update in a nutshell...

Arthur would be AWESOME.

Out of all the Capcom characters Arthur would be the one I'm most hesitant to add.
Sakurai has been focusing on representing a newcomer's traits from their game of origin in their playstyle, and one of the most notable/frustrating things about him is having a locked jump trajectory. And what's even scarier is that Capcom did just this with him in the MvC series, so it could happen here too.

Geez, Resident Evil spirits out of nowhere. Although it feels strange just for them to pop out of nowhere. And 3rd Party ones at that too. That said, I do feel bad for the fans if Spirits do de-confirm. I personally don't think they de-confirm when it comes to DLC, so I hope the fans get a chance someday.

On this as well and even though it seems impossible still, a Sony rep still hasn't been deconfirmed. The fact that everyone else is starting to drop like flies makes me feel like it might just have the tiniest sliver of possibility

Don't most fighting game characters have a locked jump trajectory anyway? Ryu and Terry generally do.

At least Arthur already has a double jump.

As someone who grew up with the DS, I'd love ANY character from the console. The closest we got is and he debuted on the GBA at the same time.

People who grew up with the NES get and , People who grew up with the N64 get , I hope people like me can get a series that started/is associated with the DS.

Yo-Kai-Watch is an amazing series that's def not supported by hardcore angry Pokemon fans trying to spite Gamefreak, and Jibanyan is for sure better than all the Pokemon combined

Crimson Viper is the best Street Fighter character and deserves to be in Smash, just like she deserved to be in MVC3.
