I'm no expert, so I'm like gonna misword stuff. RVS=Random Voting Stage. The beginning of Mafia is very...awkward. Nobody knows anything and so random votes are thrown around to get discussions and reactions from people. I don't actually know if Serin is new (I'm assuming he is, since 3+ IC's seem unlikely, especially given having 9 players) but not knowing about RVS but blindly following the crowd is lame. My vote on him was still pretty much a joke until he volunteered to be lynched.

X1 is an IC. He knows his stuff, although I think he's bad. He just replaced a newbie. Tery also knows what's up, so don't let him fool you with his "I'm not an IC, but..." crap. He's gonna say he's ****, but he still knows his way around the block.

Now you, why is the way Serin joined the wagon on Felipe scummy? I joined it as well. I want more people to join it. Something seems off isn't going to do anything to anyone, so please, point your finger at exactly what it is that has you up in arms and why it's so bad.

Why is that scummy? You've yet to explain that. You've pointed to actions and implied that they were scum motivated, but you've yet to explain why that is.

I disagree. There is always going to be information to get from interacting with other players. Eventually, there will be a point where the town has enough information / judgement to lynch someone who they believe are Mafia. And even if no such information is come across, there can be a no lynch or something else will be done. Offering yourself at the immediate beginning offers no possible benefit to town as it literally sounds like you just don't want to contribute or care. If you are town, you have everything to prove by working together to scumhunt with the rest of us.

I feel that if you're town, Mafia now have you as a really good target to just pick at the entire game.

So, let me get this straight. You want us to think that your post was anti-town, but you made it because you had no better way to prove you were town? It's actually very possible to contribute and help town get out of RVS. It's also possible to find scum D1. I don't think what you posted was doing either.

@Ryker, when did I say I thought Serin's post was scummy? My vote on him was to gauge a reaction. I also said that submitting himself to first lynch was anti-town, as it doesn't help town in any way. I never said I believed him to be scum. Quite the opposite, actually; a town player is more likely to do anti-town things by accident, especially in RVS. I found his original post strange and a bit off to me, but it seems more newbie town to me than scum.

I'm well aware of that. That does not justify your claim of "Well someone's gotta go so it may as well be me right now since we lack info." Work with the connections and dialogue presented by the other people. For example, what do you think of Kantrip / Ryker? Kantrip / me? Or even this interaction between us right now?
