New WTF character Happy mask salesman.

I honestly don't think he should be in brawl, I do like the idea just because he is a fun character,
but its not going to happen.

Reasons why he shouldn't be in brawl
1. He doesn't have a back story about him really, and holds little ties to link and has no
ties to other character.
2. He isn't around much anymore
3. He is pretty much forgotten
4. LoZ is a huge francise with many characters that should be added before HMS
5. More WTF characters, and many retro characters will probaly be considred...
6. Popularity
7. Already alot of LoZ characters already in SSBM, so we will definitly see at least the 3 major ones return, along with maby midna, zant,tingle, and skull kid.

And btw Saria did play quite a big role, she was Y. Links best friend, taught you sarias song, temple sage, and one of the only characters you could talk to at anytime. And her song appered in SSBM, and more recently LoZ TP. Not saying her chances are high I would like to see her in brawl, but I know its not realistic. (and there is always the love intrest theory)

BTW Spam can mean a post of little to no relevance.

LOL, everytime I look at this thread I laugh so hard, but yeah D3monic summed it up quite well. Anyways, there are many, many better choices maybe more than those just mentioned, like Gorons or Zoras.

Point well taken. I just think the guy's been burnt enough over this silly idea, even if his overreaction does seem to warrant further flaming (like the whole being Satan's ***** thing... ). Lets look at the facts: Not only is HMS a minor character in OoT, but hes also a minor character in a game about masks (MM), one of his masks was stolen, thus he tells u to get it back, my god he has a big role!... not... the only thing he was useful in OoT, is getting the masks, sell them, he'lll give u a new mask, u sell it again and so on, til u sell all of the masks and thus u can use them at will... he aint a very awesome character...

Seriously how is a throwing mask moveset awesome, the guy is like minor, saria had a bigger role, ruto, impa, darunia, hell malon had a bigger role in OoT, should we add them? no obcourse not, they arent imporntant to the series, they where just there to help u out, others like zelda and ganondorf where [erfect for smash, not only where they the most unique, but they had a killer role in OoT, thus they were added, tough yes ganondorf was made a clone, and y.link was a link clne, but sakurai had little tiome for melee, thus he had to make them clones, this wont happen in brawl, now that sakurai has a lot of time, and ganondorf will have a TP based moveset, but wait theres more...

Hell I wouldnt bash this idea so much if he had at least a secondary role, yet he doesnt, he lack a huge role in loz games, hes just a mask salesman, hey lets put barnes from TP, hes the most famous bomb salesman, lets add him!... c its dum, not only that but HMS lacks a role in WW and TP, the 2 newest zelda games, he has absolutely no chance, while characters like midna and zant have a good chance, midna had one of THE biggest role sin a zelda game, and zant is the 1st mayor boss other than ganondorf in a home console LoZ, not only that, but sheikl will probably not return, not only is SSBB zelda will surely look like TP zelda, thus since tp zelda =/= OoT zelda, and with sheik not appearing in TP, shes practically gone...

back to HMS, not only dos he suk, he lacks a major role in the latest 4 zelda games, he didnt even appear in the last 2, thats lowers his chances still, face the facts, if HMS is in brawl, we might as well add tingle, saria, barnes from barnes bombs from TP, malo, darunia and the hyrule king in brawl...

Well, if that doesn't convince him Stryks, nothing will... in which case it may be better to just move on...

no offense or anything, but Stryks entire last post was disscussing about HMS not being in brawl, and he gave you some pretty decent facts. Stop assuming that his post was all about "his chances are low", because the main idea of it was HMS not being in BRAWL!

A lot of the people here only agree with you, only because they don't want you to waste their time on HMS.

Oh, and get used to getting FLAMED and LISTENING TO FACTS/OPINONS OF OTHERS! You can't complain every time somebody says that he sucks, but if that's all they say, i guess that you have a right to do so.

You don't even need an argument on HMS to know that he's not brawl material. His "uniqueness", whatever you call it, isnt' very "unique" at all. In fact, He is a minor and optional character in the LOZ series.

So stop whining when people express their opinons; it's just not cool.

2.He seems like an interesting character.(If anyone actually bothered to read the Bio you would realize there is more to this character than meets the eye.)

3. Lots of possibility's for an interesting moveset. (Like I said before he can use the masks and change his mood.)

4. Possibility to appear in more games. It was never elaborated on on how he got majoras mask they could make a game about his adventures to get it. (Highly unlikely but still a possibility)

5. He is based off of Miyamoto.

EDIT: If you are sorry for all the insults then stop saying them it's common sense.

1.- No one WANTS him, also GaW was pretty much unknown, so nobody cared, same with ICs, tough people WILL know HMS, and thus will be pissed off of the fact he was in and other more important characters didnt...

2.- Any character can be interesting, hell Deku Link can actualyl work in brawl, should we add him? no hell no, cause not only does he lack a role in newer zeld games, we would be giving a spot to a character that was incredibly minor in one of the greates games ever made, which should NEVER happn...

3.- Absolutely anyone can have a unique moveset, but throwing masks aint really awesome or impressive...
