What are everyone's thoughts on the New World Order. There is too much to really say about it for a single post, so I will just direct you to two videos I've watched called ZeitGeist and Esoteric Agenda. They got me thinking, and I am open to the possibility that it is true, and also to the possibility that it is false, but I still feel it is important to let people know what it is about. All I ask is that you keep your mind open to the possibility, and let me know what your thoughts are on the matter. The links are in my sig. None of this tl;dw crap either, if you are genuinely interested then take the four hours required to watch them and let me know what your thoughts are, or tell me what your current opinion on it is if you know anything about it already. We don't know for sure, and many people get their world news from the media, while they don't necessarily lie, they don't necessarily tell the whole truth. Facts can be manipulated to make it seem like something it isn't, just like conspiracy theories of course, which is why we DON'T KNOW for a fact. What knowledge do you have on NWO? I'll have you know I watched the entire length of the Esoteric Agenda video. Some things make sense, others fall short, especially the linking of psychology and physics. Mostly the narrator found a lot of things that are controversial and loosely linked them together, the same way anyone can be linked with any other individual through 6 people.

As the media goes, they are businesses, they are not part of a conspiracy, they are not hellbent on brainwashing their audience, they are simply trying to keep their ratings up so the advertisers will buy TV commercials on their channel, or ads in their magazines. If they were trying to brainwash us, all the media outlets would contain much more similar content. We live in a capitalist society, the #1 motivator is money. they don't tell every story because there are only 24 hours in a day, The media tells the story relevant to the present that will attract their audience. If the media is so all-powerful, then newspaper king William Randolph Hearst should have been ruling the U.S. he tried, but he was never elected for any public office.

The narrator also underestimates the resilience of human beings, there are many times in the past where this "new world order" could have risen and did not, The great depression, WWII where Germany was in the exact circumstances that the narrator describes for a NWO. Governments even tried to play on that exact fear during the Cold War.

Governments may do stupid things, but they do it for themselves, they do not do it as a part of some great master plan. If the NWO was to be started anywhere, it'd be out of China. They have far more of our U.S. debt than any other nation and would thus be in a better place to influence the U.S. And yet the Narrator's only mention of China is a single image of the deceased chairman Mao.

Then there's the science, I cannot begin to tell you how far off the Narrator's science is:
-Firstly Atoms are made almost entirely of empty space. that does not mean there is something in between them. nearly all the mass of an atom is contained in the nucleus, anything else is its electrons. The thoughts of a human being or any other animal are electrical pulses between neurons in the brain and nerves. While it is true that magnetic fields can influence charged particles such as electrons, and the Earth has a magnetic field, the field or any other for that matter) does not have enough strength to alter an electron while the pulse is traveling through a conductive material such as our nervous system. in fact, a pulse such as that creates a magnetic field of its own, (that is how an electric motor works).

In defense of the allegations that our Government and companies are trying to poison us with fluoride and aspartame, I can bring up a counter example. The seeds of an apple, an ordinary apple without any genetic modifications or anything, contain trace amounts arsenic, which is a known poison. Yet the people who eat the cores of apples live ordinary lives with no more or less health effects than of an individual who does not eat the core of apples. The fluoride and components of aspartame used are even more trace than that of the apple.

Our education system: When teaching a system like mathematics, you have to set rules, you have to tell the student that an answer is wrong. They are learning a system. When it comes to history, most teachers I know encourage questions and will go into a theory. The narrator's claims of brainwashing are greatly exaggerated

I will give him credit on his psychology, he does understand the workings of a human mind. His efforts to link psychology directly to physics fall short. The fact that companies exploit our built-in psychological responses is more a trial and error thing, not intentional. The companies that correlated with the desired psychological response were successful for the most part, those that didn't were not as successful. Governments use psychological tactics to stay in office, they learned their techniques through trial and error like everyone else. people influence the people in power, even if those in power would like to think otherwise.

If you watch the video, and you think abut it, you will realize that the Narrator is in fact using the same psychological tactics that he himself describes to get his message across. (even if some of his examples contain genuine truth) A combination of fear (brainwashing NWO and conspiracy) and guilt by association can drive many to accept his point of view.

One piece of advice he dose give that I agree with: question those who claim to have the answers and draw your own conclusions. So I will question the Narrator and draw my own conclusions.

That's pretty much the conclusion I've come to after a day or two after watching this, and I'd have to agree with basically everything you said. I did realize some things were stretched to get people to believe the conspiracy, that always happens.
