New Technique!! Ledge-Vanish!

I was just playing Snakeee in a online match, and I was using Sheik and discovered something!

When running off an edge, press up b and immediately hold in the direction you're facing, then to the stage. Sheik will start the move while sliding, as if airborn, and slide off and attack(with the explosion), and then grab the ledge.

It looks amazing when you do it, and would be GREAT for edge guarding.

I'm so excited what this will bring to Sheik's potential!!

Yeah, this is pretty useful but ...it's been around since Melee.

There has also been threads within the Sheik forum and out talking about it.

It's old, and not as useful in Brawl cause you can just hug the edge.

i think it's useful in brawl haha i've used it to get vanish ko's off the edge and for some tricky edgehogs on marth's XD

just be careful not to get yourself edgehogged

Aim diagonally up if you're intending to edgeguard with it.

I didnt know this, and I've been maining sheik and winning local tournaments for the longest time.
I've always used it as an attack, but thanks i never thought of that one.

The term is "vanish guard" and yea like the rest of the above posts it has been up since melee. Insane for mindgames in battlefield.
