I fully understand that Smash Bros. isn't an RPG. However, this is an effect that works well with the crazy gameplay.

When dizzy, circles 'n' stuff will be around the character's head as they wobble. They won't be able to walk at a constant speed, and dashing would cause them to trip (like a Banana). Also, characters won't be able to keep upright in the air (as in, they'd tumble all the time). I wouldn't think their attacks should be affected.

I'd say that a 0% character would stay dizzy for about three to five seconds. Like sleep, dizziness time would increase with damage.

I suppose dizziness would be invoked by wind-type moves, such as certain Pokemon. And Fuzzies, assuming they make it. Fuzzies would be a good Yoshi's Island stage hazard.

Hmm, good idea, but why have it if it doesn't affect attacks?

Do you mean they can just attack right out of the tumble and it is just cosmetic, or that they cannot attack while tumbling, they are just able to do normal moves

evaluate :)

At first, I detested the idea, but I suppose it could work. It would just be a different form of sleeping, but would add to variety and could be entertaining if fuzzies are included. Although it could get annoying if overdone, like it possibly could on the yoshi stage.

So you mean kinda like Mewtwo's Disable/Confusion technique that he uses in Melee?
Kinda like it, but it lasts longer, and he said you can move while you do it, so very little like it ;)

I would hate for such a good idea to get overdone, I want to say "hahah, Im confused" not "ughh, again"

Good idea, but I hope that it is not overdone like he says

Keep them brawl ideas a comin, makes me less bored in this horrible wait for brawl

'specially the weekends, no updates to talk about or anything, wow..

as long as no character was able to inflict it, it would be feasible. and new, which is always welcome.

Yeah, I think dizziness could be really cool, and I agree with Phloat that it shouldn't be overdone.

The yoshi's story fuzzy idea sounds sweet. :)

As long as it is not fast and lasts to long, dizzy would be a great move for a character to have... but I agree that if you could just run up and use it without some serious combos into it, it would be no fair at all...

Besides, it is not as bad as sleeping, and ledge cancelled rests are a pain in the ***.

This would be a sweet status effect to have in the game, though I'd want only items to cause it because it would totally be cheap if a character could.
