Asage makes me want to slit my own throat and wipe the blood on his god foresaken face.

"YOU DID THIS!!"

I dont think any actively hates victini, but no one really gives a damn. Zoroark, Cool. Victini, Cool. Genesect, the best. Mostly the FANS bother people.

Is it more fun for you if you MAKE BELIEVE that you're doing this AGAINST ALL ODDS. WHEN NO ONE BELIEVED YOU COULD. Or something.

Most people are just indifferent towards Victini.
*Taking bullets while laughing* Okay, bro.

I got to head out for the night. I'm tired Lol Cya'll later.

So, Victini's got alot of supporters, here. That's good, cause this improves Victini's chances. Remember: Victory over Illusions.
Problem is internet popularity is extremely difficult to quantify. For every fifteen supporters you find online there are another fifteen out there that either do not like him or do not know him. To make this worse the gaming forum community by and large is such a small minority of those who purchase games. It is like cutting a pie in half, than cutting one of those halves again, and doing this a third time. You are left with only a tiny portion of the overall pie.

Not trying to argue but help you to see how tiny in retrospect internet support really is.

That is refutable.
Bro, last time I checked he has 19 votes on my poll, and I think he went up ten votes. Refutable? LOL.

BRO.

@Star, and to add to that, popularity only means so much in itself. I mean, you won't probably ever see daisy playable in smash, but I bet you anything she has more popularity/ is more well known than Ridley or K. Rool. Hands down.

I feel that I'm the only one here who just wants everyone to get along. :3

Anyway I will admit, alliances are pointless. I still remember facepalming quite a bit back in July when everyone was creating their own for their favorite character. I really only joined some out of a whim and friendship. It will be fun to see them spring up like crazy come E3, I still remember them from Pre-Brawl (so hilarious).

Bonus points for anyone who remembers PCAM. :smirk:

It'll be a sad day when Genesect's ugliness officially exists.
***** just jelly cuzz your head didnt aid in the creation of stonehenge

And Genesect would without a doubt play cooler than Zoroark or Victini.

There's only so many ways you can shoot a beam out of your backgun, Shorts.

Although I would support him more if he had Gunk Shot as one of his specials.

Five different types of beams, bug/steel type moveset. We've seen fire and floaty, and we've seen anthro "auraesque" dog before. Zoroark could end up lucario meets wolf. ALL SUBJECTIVE THOUGH, so dont take any of my rambling to heart.

You ZoroTini lovers, you fools.

Oasis, I demand that you draw this.

Should I post the Ice Climber ideas from the BR here?
I second the request, and sure go right ahead this discussion is too serious anyway. :p

BTW, anyone else getting the feeling that both of them have great Pokeball potental?

Ok, here's the idea for a new Ice Climbers.

[COLLAPSE="Ice Climbers"]First off, the Ice Climbers ALWAYS move in unison except in certain conditions. You cannot K.O. Nana outside of these conditions.

Grabs:
Completely revamped. The throws play an important part in the Ice Climbers dealing damage and scoring K.O.s. Because of a grab break mechanic (which everyone seems fine with), the old chain grabs are eliminated. So, in return you get this stuff.

Up, Back, and Forward Grabs: Nana can act while the throw goes on so doing a forward throw at the edge and following it up with Nana's FAir is a deadly technique. However, these throws are DI-able, and Nana can be killed if she guesses the DI incorrectly.

EDIT: Just looked on the wiki, and apparently the Nana technique was already possible. Oh well.

Down Grab: Now, the Ice Climbers toss the opponenet to the ground, forcing a hard knockdown on the opponent and the opponent can followup with the normal stuff and tech rolling (can you do the latter now? I don't remember). This comes into play for the next technique.

Down B: Blizzard Ring
This is essentially a mix of the Squall Hammer and the current Blizzard. The duo spins around creating a, well, ring of a blizzard. The blizzard doesn't "release" until a set period of time. When it does, the opponent is trapped in a flurry surrounding them. There are two versions to this: The normal version and the Smash version. The inputs for these are like Samus' missile and super missile, but downward.

The difference between the two is the length it takes for the ring to release. This ring, combined with the new down grab give the Ice Climbers an incredibly powerful okizeme game. The opponent is forced to guess which ring was used. If the opponent guesses wrong, the Ice Climbers can follow up with a combo or repeat the process once more, creating a vortex, or a blizzard as it may be appropriate in this context.[/COLLAPSE]

So where did this idea come from? Well, I was thinking of a way to retain the infamous chain grab concept, but considerably more balanced. So, I was thinking of the Ice Climbers having a vortex, which is when the opponent is knockdown and must guess which way to escape or be trapped in it until they get it right. So, I was thinking of something that would allow the vortex to happen in a way that was, for the most part, already possible in current Smash games. This is when I thought about Millia Rage of Guilty Gear's Tandem Top and how that limits wakeup options. So, I thought it'd be perfect since I wanted to make their vortex a blizzard.

For Millia action, watch this video. You'll see her Tandem Top (the ring) used considerably to get an idea.

Hey, I still have a purpose for at least my Saki group. Right now though I am waiting until some more information on Super Smash Bros 4 is released. Trust me, those groups have not outlived a purpose.

Anyways, on another note. I said I would tally the votes of my poll once it hit the benchmark of about a hundred votes. Well, today my poll hit over that threshold. Keeping my work I have, painfully, organized my list to discover what are the top fifteen most requested new stages and the top ten Brawl stages (sort of).

@Star: Sorry if I offended you, anyway forgive me if I'm a little sceptical of them as most of them are dead (except for Toad) and haven't really done much of anything outside of a few signatures. July was way too early to start them up.

@Oasis: That's the second weirdest comic you've done.

EDIT: Yay stages. 25th for Dragon's Altar? I guess that's pretty good considering it's obscure. :)

I prefer Diddy's Impa talk over your Victini talk by a mile.

New topic:
I asked this in the BR, but I figured I'd ask it here. What are your opinions on making projectiles (not things like bombs or turnips) have a stronger presence in the game. Right now, the only projectile I can think of that's prominent in Brawl is Falco's laser.

Making projectiles stronger doesn't mean that the game gets more campy. That has to do more with the game's design than anything else. I'd like to see projectiles used more as stage control/zoning tools, but can't use them on their own to make the kill.
As it stands, 75% of the cast in Brawl has a projectile. They have a pretty strong presence.

Looks like nothing else cool happened when I was away. Oh well. At least I got this.

So as I said last week, I'm running an SSB4 Blog over at Bulbagarden to get some ideas out to people. (It most likely, no, definitely, won't make a difference in the long run, but it's fun and all, and may gain a supporter or two...and spread Sakurai's various words...)

Today's post was about Muddy Mole.

I felt pretty good after writing a little thing about why he'd be a well-fit Smash character.

So I was wondering, would anyone here like to see the explanation? Just wondering.

You know, I used to root for Genesect as the 5th gen newcomer, but now I recently realized: who cares about 5th gen

Mewtwo, Deoxys, Scizor and Blastoise all da way son

Asage makes me want to slit my own throat and wipe the blood on his god foresaken face.
Ummm.... okay lol

I feel that I'm the only one here who just wants everyone to get along. :3
Nah, I feel the same way :)

By presence, I'm talking about being used in gameplay. Most projectiles don't have the range to make them scary to approach the opponent or keep you out. I've never really heard about Mario or Luigi's fireballs used much.

EDIT: You know what? Never mind. I'm just so out of touch with the competitive scene and the game that I forget what they're like.

You know, I'm looking at a couple of Brawl tutorials and I noticed something. This game has a similar problem to Street Fighter IV in that low level play sucks, though at least high level SF4 is very good. Maybe that's one reason why I liked Melee more.

You're a woman it doesn't count.

Star, you're a cheater. You rigged it in favor of Skytown Elysia.
No, it's called I was tired from calculating everything and did not feel like counting all the ties and doing the placement myself. I wrapped a list tag around the groups and left it at that.
