I don't think it'll hurt them that much. Takamaru finally made it oversea and there has been Japanese-exclusive characters in Smash. Also, Mike Jones never appeared outside of America, so his chances are very poor.

I agree with your list, although I consider most everyone in here to be good at discussing SSB4, which can't be said for other major forums (not sure on All Is Brawl).

I think when playing as Little Mac, Doc should be on the back ground cheering for Little Mac and giving him suggestions on how to beat opponents ("Always expect the unexpected" and stuff like that). When Doc encourages Little Mac ("You are the strongest out there!"), he becomes slightly more powerful.

Jiro would be great for Smash and be very unique. Sadly, he has little chances of getting in.

@Beserk: Actually Shadow was created over 100 years ago. Sonic was born about 20 years ago. (Anniversary passed not too long ago)

Shadow = Original
Sonic = Some Goku in animal form
Silver = Trunks
