No tripping. Maybe add the option to on or off.
I think either argument has valid reasoning. Either way, a setting hurts nobody.
Yup. Either way, it's unnecessary.
Mortal Kombat has me by the soul. Anytime is see MK I just want to rant about that game.
Is it because it's just like a normal fighting game except more gore, gore and gore.

@BlueZelda about MK Wii: I got used to it and then, I keep winning. I get above 3rd out of 8th place a lot. I also get 1st and 2nd even if a spiny shell comes out of no where. I only get horrible positions when too much items attack me. (Got hit by a bullet bill, squashed by a large things and more).

@BlueZelda about SSB: Remember, SSB is a fighting game. It's meant for competitive fighting plus fan service.

I like tripping because it makes the game less competitive. That's better for taunt parties.
The only thing fun about a game is beating someone else

Edit: I'm playing Fallout 3. JUST got it for the first time. I'll be back later

I quit MKW because people with low vr kept winning me with items, especially on luigi circuit. But maybe I can play against you with no items one day, but I quit for a while now so I won't be as good.

Does anyone know why my signature graphic isn't showing on the bottom?
Hey don't sweat it, I'm not as good as I want to be, yet, but I'm good enough to beat decent players, we should exchange FC's one day.

It seems you enjoy it casual wise, best solution is to include a switch to turn it on/off, then everyone can be happy.

:phone:
I am REALLY confused how it is enjoyable even casually?

Don't casuals still play to beat the other person?

I mostly casually play with friends, and I wouldn't think it is any fun loosing a match because I tripped

Machinimas? Curious!!

@Psycho: I really don't know, I guess some casuals seem to like it for some odd reason because of the random chance that the enemy will trip thus enabling to pushish on an open hit, that's my guess.

Which is a great, but terrible selling point at the same time. I mean, it's great because people love it, even I like it on occasion, but it's terrible because it's beyond disgusting. Most of the fatalities are lame anyhow. The game has some depth, I will give it that, but it's like creating an okay fighting game with only naked girls in it. It's a great idea, but not really.

@Soviet prince: hmm.. How about you create a moveset for him, you seem to be interested in him very much, well I would anyway.

Well, it doesn't have to be fancy by any means, just basic specials with a Final Smash and taunts would do, no in-depth required, it should be easier that way.

"Movesets" with only Specials and Final Smashes are lazy. >:I

HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO GIVE YOU THE FEEL OF A CHARACTER.

A, he hits them

A -> He hits them harder

A ^, he hits in the air

A V, he hits down

AA, he hits twice

There, you have the feel

Ugh once again I am held back on creating the moveset for Paper Mario thanks to my brother hogging this computer. But now I can finally do it. ^_^

I have some of it, but not all

I have AAA combo shooting rapid pellets from fingers in a wave pattern, and forward smash Shooting a canonball

I want Geno to have ranged attacks to represent his guns in SMRPG rather than just punching and kicking. However, I have a hard time balancing the use of magic and guns

Also, another problem is my re imagining of Geno as a steampunk-esque robot in a wooden shell (Which basically what he is, just mine is moreso) has effects in the moveset

I got this from the brawl geno discussion thread:

A - Standard punch.
A-A - One-two punch.
A-A-A-repeated - Geno's hands suck in, and he starts blasting stars out of his arms. This is a combo attack, and the stars do not travel very far before disappearing.

Tilt-A-Up - Geno kicks straight up with one leg, similar to Sheik. Considering he's only a doll, he should be the most flexible character in the game. :p
Tilt-A-forward - Geno does the finger shot. Several pellets shoot out of his four fingers, traveling a short distance before disappearing.
Tilt-A-Down - A sweeping ground kick, similar to Ness.

Smash-A-Up - Geno sticks both hands straight up, and then spreads them, leaving a trail of stars where his hands were. Has a high knockback.
Smash-A-Forward - Geno fires his hand straight forward. It travels a good distance before disappearing and reappearing back on his arm.
Smash-A-Down - Geno does a split, kicking both legs out sideways.

Aerial-A-Neutral - Geno spins in a circle, with arms outstretched. His hands emit a small trail of stars.
Aerial-A-Up - Geno flips, kicking, like Kirby.
Aerial-A-Forward - Geno kicks both feet forward, perpendicular to the screen.
Aerial-A-Down - Geno does his finger shot straight down. The pellets travel a small distance before disappearing.
Aerial-A-Backward - Geno kicks one foot backwards, spinning in a circle.

B-Neutral - Geno charges up the Geno Beam. The longer you hold it, the more powerful the move gets (until it gets to its maximum charge, that is). The move, unlike other "shooting" moves like Samus' Charge Shot or Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, shoots across the entire stage, staying attached to Geno during the duration of the attack. To make up for it's large range, it's a relatively slow-moving attack.
B-Up - Geno spreads his arms and flies upward. A trail of stars extends behind him, which damages opponents until they disappear.
B-Forward The Geno Whirl, from Mario RPG. Geno swings his arm in a horizontal arc, sending a series of circles across the stage horizontally. This is a very quick-move. Also, if you press B again at the exact right instant, anyone hit by the Whirl's damage goes straight to 999% (Just kidding. )
B-Down - The Geno Blast. Geno plants himself, and a series of multicolored lights rain down from the heavens on either side of him.

Super Move - The Geno Flash. Geno turns into a cannon, and shoots a spark into the center of the stage. The spark grows a face, blinks, and then explodes.

That was pre-brawl though

With the inclusion of Snake with his ranged smashes, I think that opens up Geno to be more of a ranged fighter.

I had this idea back in Brawl days, but we didn't know much about snake than.

Besides, that set uses magic more, I like him using cannonballs and pellets

Just to throw this out here, the Wii U can use two Wii U tablets. You could, hypothetically, have a six-player match with four Wii Remotes and two Wii U tablets (or four Classic Controllers because more than likely Sakurai will make the game cross-controller compatible.)

I like how people get really outraged at the suggestion of Fawful, yet will endorse Geno for some reason.

While we're talking about one hit RPG wonders, we can't possibility overlook one particular stand-out character hailing from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. When Paper Mario entered the Glitz Pit, he was instantly antagonist by the champion. This act villain set himself apart from the rest of the game, and became an instant fan favorite for his cocky persona and belligerance... It's time to RAWK!

Rawk Hawk
(Paper Mario Series)
~Theme~

Rather than having Paper Mario himself, why not have a separate character represent the series?

Rawk Hawk joins the fray in his true 2D form!

Playstyle
Rawk Hawk is true to his nature as a show-boating narcissist. He fights much like a WWE wrestler, with significant delays before his attacks to add flair to his moves. He is a powerful grappler. Like in the game, his fighting style is based on a luchador.

Special Moves:
Up B~ Rawk Dive- Rawk Hawk does a high up jump with somersaults before swooping ahead at a downward angle. If it connects with an enemy, he grabs them and will slam them into the ground with himself.

Side B~ Rawk Turnbuckle- A paper turnbuckle rises out of the ground next to Rawk Hawk, he jumps on it. Pressing a direction while on the turnbuckle will result in Rawk Hawk performing a powerful dive off. Great for pinning down enemies. Once he slams into an enemy, they get pushed into the ground.

Neutral B~ Rawk Appeal: Rawk Hawk will make a taunt-like motion to the supposed crowd... Depending on the amount of appeal he has generated, they will perform a certain function.

Appeal is generated by taunting and doing damage to enemies. Alternatively, Appeal is lost by taking damage and camping. The appeal chart is as follows:
1- Crowd throws a hefty weight at Rawk Hawk, can actually KO at 60% plus.
2- Crowd resoundingly boo's him and throws empty cans, doing slight damage.
3- Crowd boos, which stuns Rawk Hawk
4- Crowd doesn't do anything.
5- Crowd lets out a half-hearted cheer, but does nothing.
6- Crowd cheers, giving Rawk Hawk a very slight boost.
7- Crowd lets out a significant cheer, Rawk Hawk gets a moderate boost.
8- Crowd tosses him a food item, which Rawk Hawk eats instantly.
9- Crowd lets out a significant cheer, boosting Rawk Hawk.
10- Crowd lets out a resounding cheer, boosting Rawk Hawks hit range, speed, and knockback resistance. Temporary Super Armor immediately following the appeal.

Note that using Appeal resets it to Neutral.

Down B~ Rawk Smash: He couldn't be a wrestler type without this signature move, this is based on the famous wrestling finisher move, the Power Bomb. Rawk Hawk grapples ahead, if an enemy is caught, he wheels them over his head and after a brief window, slams them into the ground doing MASSIVE DAMAGE. This is one of the more powerful moves in the game, as such, when the enemy is over Rawks head, there is a brief window to excape, similar to breaking out of a grapple.

Final Smash~ Time to Rawk!
The camera pulls back and reveals a crowd watching the Smash Bros fight, the crowd is filled with Goombas, Koopas, Waddle Dees, Animal Crossers, Dekus, Yoshis, etc. Rawk Hawk leaps onto a steel catwalk that is supposedly overhanging the arena and begins to shake it. Debris like stage lights, speakers, etc. rains down on the stage doing damage to enemies. Everytime that someone is struck, the crowd leaps up, further obstructing view as they get wild.

Grab- Rawk Hawk's grab animation is similar to a Pin from wrestling.

Yeah. Not much though. All we know is that it's going to be developed after they're finished with Kid Icarus Uprising.

Who's Rawk Hawk?

Someone that isn't Geno, therefore should not be mentioned and moves Barbasol into SHAME

It's an outrage

Who's Rawk Hawk?
A boss in the sequel to Paper Mario. He's not even a boss, either (well a pseudo-boss). He seems like a person to be in the Make Your Move X.

Anyhow I'm still working on the PM moveset. Almost finished.

Oh man!! I totally like this, it sure brings back memories from
playing Chapter 3
of Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, he was one of my favorite bosses of all time, very cool looking indeed.

If Paper Mario had his own theme and own antagonist then that would be just about the greatest thing to happen, even if it is unlikely.

Hook the Dragon would make a great SSE Adventure Boss, yea another worthy boss looking at.

It would probably be Shadow Queen or someone. Also it's Hooktail. xD

As of progress it's almost done. I've been working so long on this moveset but I'm liking it so far.

Shadow Queen? Whose that? I never finished the game btw.. I'm at chapter 6 though, great game, yeas Hooktail was awesome but was too easy, he should have been harder.

Also, I'm looking forward to your moveset as well, I can't wait to see what kind of specials you gave him.

She's the final boss of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and is perfect for an adventure mode.
