Both males and females are able to produce milk, though men need a lot of estrogen for it to develop.
My body is ready.

I'd be down for a promo 6th gen poke rep. Although I'm not sure if it'll happen because the continuation of the black and white series might push back the desire to create/demand for a 6th gen by the time the roster is being finalized.

I'd rather concentrate on the other 5 first.

The 5th Gen is one of the most well-received and popular generations of all time. A new Gen suddenly getting a character would be horrible. Unless 5th Gen atleast gets a character.

I really would rather not have 8 or 9 slots this time. :glare:

Don't see the big deal, Pokemon already has the most characters.
Hell for fun, bring back Mewtwo, add Plusle and Minun to rep Gen 3, add someone, like...IDK....Scizor...? to rep Gen 2, add Zoro/Tini (whichever) to rep Gen 5, Meowth to get people to shut up, and a new 6th Gen.

I've said this before, but if Sakurai is going to finalize the roster right around now or at least somewhat soon, how is there going to be a sixth generation pokemon when the sixth generation is nowhere in sight, the sequel to the fifth hasn't even come out. ._____.

I more or less meant slots, but touche on the terminology.

I think 6 is good enough, IMO.

Pikachu, Jigglypuff, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, 5th Gen.

Also, what Holder of the Heel said.

Getting a trailer or not,we probably won't get any gameplay
But if we do,a new and/or old characters that's here to fight,and also show you the new things/brough back things in a "learning" mode,that's all i ask,even if it only has kirby,link,pikachu,and mario,i don't really care for a new one.

Not saying we'll see a 6th gen Poke, but characters exist long before we know about them. So it's not a question of when the 6th gen is revealed, but whether or not it's far enough along in development now to lend a character to Smash.

Also, I don't understand why, but whenever I hear "Pumped Up Kicks," I think of you, Champfunk.

LOL. Assuming that no Pokemon gets cut. How cute. :awesome: I really doubt Sakurai is going to have 8-9 slots devoted to Pokemon series. The least I can see is 4 slots and the most would probably be 6 slots. 5 slots is the happy medium, of course. IMO, I would be satisfied with this Pokemon roster, assuming it gets 6 slots:

Pikachu = mascot Pokemon
Mewtwo = original Legendary Pokemon
Pokemon Trainer (Red with Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard) = original protagonist with original starter Pokemon
Team Rocket (Jessie & James with Meowth, Arbok, and Weezing) = original villainous team with Team Rocket's original Pokemon from the first season of the anime
Jigglypuff = original random Pokemon
Zoroark or 6th gen Pokemon = current promotional Pokemon

Yeah, I know it is overloaded with 1st gen Pokemon. Whatever. But most people would be satisfied with it. It's kept Jigglypuff and added back Mewtwo while adding a couple new Pokemon at the expense of Lucario.

If people want a perfect balance of Pokemon generations with 6 slots, they have to let go of Jigglypuff to make room for a 6th gen Pokemon and accept that Mewtwo isn't coming back. Sure, it's balanced but people would be b****ing about how they finally cut Jigglypuff (therefore ruining the Original 12 tradition) and didn't add Mewtwo back. But it's more than that, it cut out Pokemon Trainer and Lucario as well.

Pikachu = 1st gen
Pichu or Johto Pokemon Trainer = 2nd gen
Hoenn Pokemon Trainer or Plusle & Minun or Deoxys = 3rd gen
Lucario = 4th gen
Zoroark or Victini or Genesect = 5th gen
??? = 6th gen

The sixth generation will probably be revealed THE year OF Smash4's release or the year after... much, MUCH, too late.

It's going to be Zoroark. Or Genesect. Or Victini if you really think that.

@Arcade
Pika
Jiggs
PT
Mewtwo
Lucario
Zoroark

done! If time is getting to him, he'll cut Mewtwo or Lucario.

I gotta agree with Shortie again.^^

I'm postive we won't have a notable (or as some people call it: Lucario like) Pokemon until 2 years at a minimun from now. If we get one at all for Genesect's movie, which is a while a the road, it'll be more like Munchlax or Donfan or Slowking. "trends of the movies and what not."

Besides Genesect is going to be the star of his movie, do you think they'll let a "Lucario" upstage him? :p

Some of us would rather avoid cuts, thank you. We actually care that every character has a right to return.

Pikachu = mascot Pokemon
Mewtwo = original Legendary Pokemon
Jigglypuff = original random Pokemon
Zoroark or 6th gen Pokemon = current promotional Pokemon
I wouldn't play under it. Horrid. Only 3 of them are worth it. Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and 5th Gen. That's it.

Yeah, I know it is overloaded with 1st gen Pokemon. Whatever. But most people would be satisfied with it. It's kept Jigglypuff and added back Mewtwo while adding a couple new Pokemon at the expense of Lucario.
Lucario is extremely popular, removing him for MEOWTH would not go over well. No, bad idea. It's one thing for a 5th Gen, where it can be justified, but not for a slightly popular 1st Gen. Hell, for Mewtwo is even reasonable.

6th Gen has very little chance of getting in. Don't even bother mentioning it at this point. It does not even EXIST at all. It may not even exist before SSB4 comes out. It's not even worth considering until they preview it. Until then, stick to 5th and below that actually, you know, exist. Jigglypuff won't ever be cut. She's not even on that possible list and you know it. Veterans from the first game has NEVER left, at worst they were upgraded.(Polygons became Wire Frames, etc.) Metal Mario, Giant DK, and Master Hand still overall exist and always will in some way.

Pikachu = 1st gen
Pichu or Johto Pokemon Trainer = 2nd gen
Hoenn Pokemon Trainer or Plusle & Minun or Deoxys = 3rd gen
Lucario = 4th gen
Zoroark or Victini or Genesect = 5th gen
??? = 6th gen
Remove 6th gen, which isn't viable at this time. That's beyond grasping at straws. You can't really think something that does not exist is viable, can you?

Realistic List that actually has a chance:

Pikachu
Jigglypuff
Pokemon Trainer(Charizard, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen)
Lucario
Mewtwo
Zoroark/Victini/Genesect(Zoroark is probably the best choice right now).

Yeah, Holder, Shortie and Line have the right idea. Why do we think a 6th gen Pokemon will happen?

Well that's just fine for you to think.

But Victini, that cat, is ****ing dead in the water. It's unfortunate, wait, no it's not.

@Roy, you know, if he wasn't a last minute clone in Melee, he wouldn't be asked for... just putting that out there.

Just curious.... why do you think Sakurai is just going to add only one new Pokemon? I don't count Mewtwo as a new Pokemon, though. Based on Sakurai's track record, he adds at least two Pokemon newcomers in each game. One is from the 1st gen and the other is from the latest generation of the time. 1st gen was the latest generation when Smash 64 was developed. 2nd gen during Melee and 4th gen during Brawl. And now, 5th gen during Smash 4.

Yes, you guys don't want cuts. You have emotionally invested into these characters. You all believe they are sentient and have civil rights to come back in all the Smash games to come. I get that. But it's bound to happen sooner or later. I've already accepted that as inevitable and I will just enjoy them while I still can (plus it also helps to never sell your N64/Gamecube/Wii and copies of 64/Melee/Brawl). To say otherwise is to be in denial. If everyone comes back, okay, great! But if some of them get cut, I am not going to irrationally spam the boards and crying about how they cut X, Y, and Z. I saw this happen when most people were confident about Mewtwo coming back in Brawl and the Internet just broke down when it was proven otherwise. I don't know why you guys think that Smash won't have roster cuts when history has proven otherwise (from Melee to Brawl) and all the fighting games have had their share of roster cuts. What you think Smash is the exception to this inevitability?

If Roy and Micaiah had a kid, would it have pink hair?

Kuma just came.

Oh look, it's the Pokemon discussion again. Your thoughts on custom colors? I kind hope that if it happens, we don't get those crazy glowing colors like in SFxTK. Seriously, that stuff can be murder on the eyes.

Well I'm not so sure how early they start jumping on the next gen, so I'm not so sure. Plus I doubt they keep Sakurai informed of all the confidential pokemon information to suggest characters for Sakurai.

Also, I don't understand why, but whenever I hear "Pumped Up Kicks," I think of you, Champfunk.
You have now ruined that song for me.

Also, Champfunk? What is the meaning of this?
