Mario statistically was the best character (he was 4 star in everything). Luigi was a lot less powerful (I think he was 2 stars) and slower, but his jump was ridiculous.

Edit: Toad had max strength and speed at 5 stars, but his jump was only 2, which made it hard to fight bosses as him. Luigi and Mario IMO were the all-around best.

Peach was the most underrated, even if her stats sucked. That was, of course, because she could float forever (that skill is of course in Melee and Brawl), which wasn't much slower than running.

i just noticed that playstation all-star batttlewiwouiehfw whatever , has a heavy wieght female in their roster before smash bros put one in theirs. (though by the looks of the game, it looks like weight has nothing to do with the fighiting system... as of yet.. just looks like stamina mode with stocks to me.)

Well Samus with her armor really should be a heavy character .

Samus is a fairly heavy character (in Melee at least), however, she isn't what I would call a "heavyweight."

Edit: Also, Zero Suit Samus IMO is too light. She's suppose to be well over 6 feet tall and weigh just under 200 pounds. Her weight made it seemed like she was 140 pounds or so.

Samus is the 7th heaviest char in brawl. I think it's fairly safe to say that she is a heavyweight. You probably mean heavyset not heavyweight.

No funky time, I mean Samus is a heavy character, but I wouldn't consider her a true "heavyweight." Whenever I think of a heavy character in a fighting game, I think of really big characters. Really the only "true" heavyweight characters in Smash IMO are Ganondorf and Bowser (plus Mewtwo if his weight was accurate to his appearance in Pokémon).
