New Smash Bros for WiiU

I didn't know that Genesect was less than 5 feet tall. For being a "killer" that sounds a little weird unless it pulls off a Raptor from Jurassic Park. lol

Okay, so... I've been thinking... Most of us here think version-exclusive characters would be a bad idea, but what about version-exclusive stages? Like the transferable content thing? It would probably add a variety to the stages. What do you all think?

Zoroark is specifically known as the "Illusion" Pokemon and those potential applications are far greater than most of the dull minds in this thread and making the game. Victini is admittedly the obligatory cutsey Pokemon a la Mew or Celebi. You're right when you mention there aren't many bug types with cannons; the only one that comes to mind immediately is Forretress.

Does that freak of nature look generic to you? Plus, he's our first bug legendary. That has to count for something.

@Genesect fanboys: If it makes you all feel better then, when I said generic I was refering to the former 2 Pokemon. I won't say I like Genesect YET though.

He is different from any other Pokémon out there at this time. His beauty is in his bizarreness. Plus, by 2013 he will be the main Pokémon. If Game Freak and The Pokémon Company really do enjoy shoehorning the latest Pokémon (which they don't), than he will probably be that.

I just want a playable insect. Screw bipedal canines.

@Tri-Hy- When it comes to Genesect, I don't think he is as likely as Zoroark or Victini, but I would prefer him as a 5th gen rep to those two due to him having a cannon and all that

There's an easy solution to characters you don't want but made it in: don't play as them. Couldn't be any simpler.

But for me, there's a good chance that I will still try EVERY character at least once, no matter how much of a fan I am of that character.

Also, I remember I also play as everyone so I can beat all the 1 Player modes with all characters so I can get whatever reward it offers (trophies, extra content, whatever).

They should of made Dark Link like the Dark Link from Four Swords.

@Oasis The difference is that the claws are long, thin, and made of metal, so it would virtually be more impossible than Jiggz or Kirbeh. They actually, in my theory, may have hands like Patrick's; cartoon forming fingars, ya know? Just not as reveiling.

"Deserving", "likeliest", "needed", "representative"; all of these terms are really for user's personal desires. Six years of the Super Smash Bros cycle has taught me that. How developers categorize and selects characters is nothing like how millions of fans believe they do. What harm is there in simply being honest and saying "hey, I like this character, and here is why"?
