Which reminds me, as an obvious Galaxy fan, which did you prefer?
Myself, I loved both, but I feel like Galaxy 1 had a lot more love put into the overall presentation. They designed that game with the mindset of giving us a grand space adventure.
Galaxy 2, while fun, felt to me like they were just trying to make as many fast-paced, challenging platforming levels as possible. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but the rest of the experience just felt a bit flat. And don't get me started on how they think it's so great that they "streamlined" the level select process. 3D Mario platformers aren't supposed to have World Map screens...
As for Galaxy representation in SSB4, I desperately want a Galaxy Tours stage. My idea was always that it's a Mushroomy Kingdom meets Delfino Plaza deal, where you randomly start on either Rosalina's Comet Observatory or Starship Mario, then travel to various Galaxies that depend on which stage you start on. Also, all this talk of Rosalina is making me like her more than Toad. I might throw her on my wishlist roster...
