Give an explicit cameo? I highly doubt it, but that doesn't mean we could see a reference as an Ascended Meme. Of course, I don't think the Triforce Cast and Impa herself would make a reference of some sort beyond maybe eating an Octorok or Dodongos.

I think it would be weird if Impa ate an Octorok or Dodongo.

I never said Impa would do either. Honestly, I see it more likely for Toon Link.

Come to think of it, couldn't Pit or Palutena make a reference to eating Octoroks? I would still love it if the winner said something to the loser at the victory screen, even if it's text.

Seriously though, I wouldn't make much of a point about it unless all other newcomers are totally lame. Like no King K.Rool or Mewtwo for example. That would make me rage much much harder.

What's so great about Impa anyway. She will probably be a clone of sheik.

She's great cause she's with the series since the beginning, and now finally has a more prominent role since Skyward Sword. That barrier is also awesome, as well as other skills she could use. She could be a half clone yes, but I don't feel Sheik should make it back really in the first place. But they could coexist of coarse.

Would her final smash be turning into her grandma form?

Maybe as part of a Final Smash involving Time Portals?

Now, this Deku Nut would pack more power than the basic Deku Nuts that appear as items. Impa would also throw it downwards, and would not be affected by its effects.

Sonic, I do wish for his return. Solid Snake, I could care less about him.

I know that he was in OOT and TP but Nintendo would probably base him off of MM cause he had a major role in that game.

And they got rid of Young Link cause Toon Link was a good replacement and he was newer. I also think there was probably no good replacement for sheik, plus she is apart of Zeldas character, plus OOT was the most well known and popular game in the series.

Impa can easily be unique, especially regarding B moves. And maybe resemble Sheik's playSTYLE in other moves. Think Ness / Lucas on this one, same weight, similar jumps, some similar moves on A moves, but overall fastly different (B moves excluded). But if Sheik herself would be gone, Impa could pass of as a 'clone' with different B moves easily.

I'm more attached to Skull Kid's Twilight Princess incarnation, even though he was a minor character in that game. Of course, his Final Smash could be summoning his puppets to clobber his opponents.

When it comes to specials, there's some stuff. Make that barrier thing function as a double palm strike (look up Yun and Yang in Street Fighter for this, it's a damn good move). There's also a bomb she can use, preferably a smoke bomb as it'll stick out compared to the Links and retain that ninja vibe. Needles/Kunai could return, I mean she is a ninja after all. And they could do something like Lucario's Double Team, but not as a counter and you control where she goes like Pikachu's Quick Attack.

Bad boy, you shouldn't even THINK that way.

No, Square Enix is what it stands for. Basically, if any third party is going to be added, it will be from one of the Big Five, or, if you believe in the power of friendship, level-5. Basically, SEGA, Konami, Square, Namco, Capcom, and Level-5 kinda are the six companies that I think one of the third parties could come from.

Sonic, Bomberman, Black Mage, Megaman, Pac-Man. Perfect.

I got off subject. Uhm, basically, I don't put TOO much stock into Professor Layton's creator being buddies with Sakurai (Which could bite me in the *** later on) or Pac-Man and Namco in general. Even though Pac-Man has crossed over with Mario, and Link has crossed over with Soul Calibur... I still am not buying it yet. Shame really. Pac-Man or Nightmare could be awesome in Smash. Oh well.

So yeah, Megaman, and a SE character are my bets for a new third party IF WE GET ANY.

Since Tingle is the last important Zelda character left, I'd think he would have a great shot. Great Personality, unique abilities, an original design, and great popularity. He was a very favorite of mine's in Majora's Mask who'd supply me with great maps. The thing that ticked me off is that they were very expensive in Wind Waker. Other than that, I wish that I was able to play his other region-exclusive games.
