I just thought of something. Remember how ChronoBound's research led to show that Gooey was the most requested Kirby character?
Despite being old news, I feel he has a shot; I mean, he beat Meta Knight out in the Pre-Melee polls in Japan...

3. Wario-Made it in Brawl.
4. King Dedede-Made it in Brawl.
5. Ganon (Ganondorf)-Made it in Melee.
6./7. James Bond-Inelligible due to not debuting in a video game.
6./7. Mewtwo-Made it in Melee, cut from Brawl, heavily requested for Sm4sh.
8. Banjo-Kazooie-Inelligible due to Microsoft owning Rare.
9. Toad-Sakurai stated that he doesn't view Toad as a fighter. This could change, however.
10. Mew-Has too much competition, including the previously mentioned Mewtwo.

11. Marth-Made it in Melee.
12./13./14. Mr. Saturn-Made it as an item in Melee.
12./13./14. "Satoshi" (Main protagonist of Pokemon R/G; not Ash)-Made it in Brawl as "Pokemon Trainer".

I was one of the 4 little children in the world to actually know who every single character that was in Melee before I got the game, and I also knew all of the characters that were in Brawl before I got it, AND the whole entire MK9 game got spoiled for me last year, so I don't really care about being spoiled since I'm used to it

Minus Roy, you couldn't possibly knew of Roy.

Personally, Gooey is one of my least favorite Kirby characters. I want Prince Fluff so bad it hurts, but I realize that most want Bandanna Dee more. That's fine, though, I like Bandanna Dee mostly.

Gooey, though... Eh. I don't get why the Japanese love him so much. Kirby 3 was fun and all, but Gooey can't even use Copy Abilities in that game...

Proabably because Meta Knight's popularity shot up since that pre-Melee poll, and he's Sakurai's favorite creation.

Now with Meta Knight and Dedede out of the way, there still lies the competition in (Bandana) Waddle Dee, but something tells me he isn't as likely as people think.
Oh, and I suppose Galacta Knight is competition as well. Somewhat.

Simple, a lot of what Meta Knight has that puts him in top tier is the fact he's fast with great priority on moves.

Galacta Knight, even if he was a clone, would be slower and stronger, and would more likely have less priority in his moves as a result.

Clones usually have somewhat similar priority. Meta Knight needs to be nerfed pretty badly though. If only his Up B and B... And speed, jumps, priority, kill power...

Why didn't you just quote me? And would Zero 2 be considerable? He is an old favorite of kirby fans. Very exotic for a game of kirbys nature.

Well for one, a feature where his mask cracked (not broke completely, I don't think) was planned for Brawl, but didn't make it, but I think it would just be an aesthetic change.

Though would you really take him seriously if he's looking like a blue Kirby but talking like Darth Vader?
