Smash Hero
Halfrican? Lol, I'm beige-skinned, not really yeller but that's besides the point
Anyway, who else wants Armored Mewtwo as Mewtwo's alt in Smash?

Well it has been quite odd that Ganondorf has been a Captain Falcon clone, since the two aren't even in the same universe. If Black Shadow took over Ganondorf's old moveset, that would make more sense, as Black Shadow and Captain Falcon are mortal enemies.Always liked that idea thb. And the best way of getting a F-Zero rep in. Black Shadow and Ganon still could have similarities though.
I don't see the need to move Gannondorf's old moveset to Black Shadow.I'd still like to see Black Shadow take Ganondorf's old moveset so that Ganondorf can finally switch to doing sword play.
Brock pretty much mentioned the same thing to me when I mentioned my alternate outfit inputs at the Super Mario Boards.Clone-like characters? Like Daisy as Peach's alt, or Shadow as Sonic's alt? Nah son, I don't think that's a good idea
Highly agreedWhy would a completely different character need to be an alt of another character?
Something like Doc as Mario's alt is fine, but Roy as Marth's alternate? Uh-uh
Peace Diddy![]()
We already have ATs though, which is better than referencing the character as an alt because they're actually appearing.Brock pretty much mentioned the same thing to me when I mentioned my alternate outfit inputs at the Super Mario Boards.
I guess it would be a major insult to the actual character if he/she gets treated as an alternate outfit of someone else. But it's merely another way to represent characters who aren't popular enough to be playable.
We already have trophies/AT's to represent characters that don't make the cut. Maybe recoloring their outfits to look like the character in question or something is fine (like one of Mario's palette swaps in Melee), but I agree with Brock; I just think that's a poor way of representing characters that probably shouldn't be represented with a playable appearance.Brock pretty much mentioned the same thing to me when I mentioned my alternate outfit inputs at the Super Mario Boards.

The Assist Trophy models are at a lower quality level than that of the playable characters though. Besides, I can't exactly vision Rosalina having a low quality model after all.We already have ATs though, which is better than referencing the character as an alt because they're actually appearing.
Yeah the biggest problem is that when you have an idea that sounds good, when you think it over, it could end up being a disaster if implemented. We already have trophies/AT's to represent characters that don't make the cut. For Brawl, yea. For SSB4, maybe. The game will have HD graphics anyway so I'm positive the models will look pretty good (except for the AT sprite characters) regardless. The Assist Trophy models are at a lower quality level than that of the playable characters though. Let me know what you think of it.
The Mario Kart Wii models are too low quality, since no one has any finger bones. I actually want the Assist Trophy models to follow the same quality levels as the playable character models. For Brawl, yea. For SSB4, maybe. The game will have HD graphics anyway so I'm positive the models will look pretty good (except for the AT sprite characters) regardless.
Its like a movie or a tv show--you look forward to a certain actor/character appearing but instead they're impersonated by someone who clearly isn't them throughout. We could have the actual actor/character making brief occasional appearances (as an AT) but instead they're just referenced.
Slime IS the mascot of Dragon Quest, and it has made crossover appearances on some Mario spin-offs too; namely, Mario Sports Mix, Fortune Street, and the Japan only Itadaki Street DS. If Slime can compete is sports, think about what it could do in a fight. On the rosters: Not sure why people are putting 5 third party characters. And worse, they put Slime. Why? he's a basic enemy in the game series and no one is asking for him. People think he's a sure pick when most people ask for Megaman and there aren't going to be a billion third party characters (I'd be surprised if any get in).

Sakurai mentioned Capcom characters having the possibility of getting in. I say maximum of two. Ryu and Megaman. On the rosters: Not sure why people are putting 5 third party characters. IDK. :/BirthNote: So who'll be playable, and who'll be the assist?
(-=,=-)?
I can't exactly vision Bowser Jr. as an Assist Trophy. He just looks like someone who's destined to be fighting, and I do support him as a playable character.BirthNote: So who'll be playable, and who'll be the assist?
