Omnimon Paladin Mode. He's almost literally a God. In fact, he's amongst the top levels of power in the Digimon universe. That being an Ultra-Mega.(which is the technical level right above Mega, only basically being monsters who are DNA Digivolved from Mega level in atleast one of their requirements.

Genesect would lose to Phoenixmon. Flying and Fire.(btw, it has the Float ability, making it immune to Ground types, and yes, this is a Digimon Card Game thing) Also, Digivolve is used in everything related to Digimon.

I have another idea for something fun.

Why not have me do a spin on this?

Basically, for the first month, you can cast three votes a day (only one vote per character) on a candidate listed. I then tally the votes (as time goes on) and the next month is dedicated to voting on the Top 15 that were the highest voted. The four that receive the most votes out of these will be declared the winner and the most wanted.

So if I proceed with this idea, when do you want me to start?

Good question. It's why I want to have a week before this starts dedicated to having a list out and then having people nominate to it if they think they should be on it.

So basically, if I did this, for the first week, you get to nominate characters you want on the poll that I haven't already provided.

Yes, it will be here. I'm also hoping to get it on GameFAQs as well, but I'm worried that people will vote on both sites with different names to push their candidate ahead even thought it's them voting twice (and since I'm only allowing three votes in a day and one per candidate, it would be illegal).

I also plan on making a Youtube about it when it idea is developed enough and it gets near the beginning of the game.

Snake didn't really get any notoriety until later on. He does owe his beginnings to Nintendo, however.

Sonic had a lot of IPs on Nintendo handhelds, too. *shrugs.*

Smooth Criminal

Metal Gear on the MSX1 and 2 didn't sell that well.

The port to the NES (which in my opinion is slightly inferior) was ridiculously popular, selling well over a million units.

Of course Metal Gear Solid was the game that catapulted the series into gold status, but Metal Gear was pretty popular back in the day.

As for the Sonic IPs on handhelds, a lot of them are good (at least the handheld exclusive ones). Sonic Chronicles got decent reviews, Sonic Rush and Sonic rush Adventures got pretty good reviews, the Sonic Advance games (especially the 3rd) were great (I personally love them).

So far Sonic Generations has gotten pretty good reviews. Sonic Colors got some good reviews out of nowhere too, which makes me happy. At least the franchise seems headed back into the right direction.

As for the Wii U delay, good. They don't want to lose money. If they have a strong release-date lineup, the console could sell quickly. Twilight Princess and Wii Sports sold the Wii like hotcakes, and having Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Paper Mario, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption around the corner doesn't hurt, either.

There's Plant-Digimon too. Just saying. I lost my old list to it. Digi Encyclopedia. So I can't check it directly. And no, Digimon didn't win that area either. They're pretty much overall equal. Also, Digimon can have up to 8 moves at once in the games without basically cheating. That puts them at about even.

Anime: Digimon already has a new season coming out. Also, the quality of Digimon was often greater due to better characterization, better writing, and actually having better animation and more mature tones. Pokemon still lacks this.
Games: That's because they don't do tons of remakes either. Each game is different and unique. Pokemon still lacks this. There's pretty much 4 types of games that actually have sequels. Stadium, Regular, Ranger, and Mystery Dungeon. Almost no Digimon games are exactly the same. BTW, it started as a Tamagatchi clone, not a Manga/Anime.
Popularity: You mean having ten times more digimon, and not just expies? Sure it has a few clones, but it still has more. Also, Agumon is available in all games almost completely from the start. Pikachu isn't directly available in Black & White till way beyond later. Likewise, Agumon isn't always the same used mascot. That's because they actually used different unique characters without relying on the same tired old mons.

Yeah, I have no answer to the seedless grape because it lost me.

Digimon isn't a video game originally. Therefore, it falls in the same category as Batman, Dwight Schrute, Naruto, Scarface, and President Obama... >.>

Also, they aren't about the games. The Pokémon games are light years better than the Digimon games (spin-offs aside). Pokémon games are more addicting, fun, and detail. I don't give a crap about other medias of either franchise, honestly.
