That actually set him apart from Mario.
Plus, all the times I play Melee, I can have 3 Marios in one match. Mario in both his default and his "Wario" costume, and Dr. Mario. It's HILARIOUS!!

I dunno... I'm on the fence. I wouldn't MIND Junior, or that HACK Toad, but.. if they get in the way of someone like Ridley, or Shulk, I'm not willing to add them. Otherwise, let's add Geno and call it good. He's the only logical choice. Krystal and Ridley won't work with toads. they won't. And Junior would be a Mario/Bowser clone.

Snorlax learns most moves in the game, you can get Ice/Hyper Beams going, earth quake, punches.
Though I'd love a moveset that revolved around buffing him with amnesia or curse, so you could force people to need to approach you, then using his girth to punish.

Ok, so aside from his sideways shenanigans, which would be dodge, how is Paper Mario different from normal Mario? I've only ever played Super Paper Mario, so I'm a bit confused.

If you stay on this thread for a month, you'll hear everything under the sun be suggested. Yoshi has had Kamek and Baby Bros suggested. I've heard a Shy Guy suggestion as well.
That game was disgusting and doesn't deserve the title of Mario RPG.

Square Enix owns every character who's first game was Super Mario RPG, since they were the developer of that game and Nintendo did not try to acquire rights for them. That includes (but is not limited to) Geno, Mallow, Croco, Boshi, Peach's Frying Pan I named Roberta, etc.
However, if Nintendo wanted they could try to go to court to get joint-custody of characters from Super Mario RPG, or even sole custody of rights to Super Mario RPG original characters.
That or they could ask Square Enix for joint-custody rights of Super Mario RPG original characters, which they might not actually mind (perhaps with some free money).
