Sure, would you want her? After all she is hawt, it true man.

Her pokemon would be Togepi, Psyduck and some powerful water type I guess, admit it, she would be awesome and a great choice since the Pokemon Company obviously cater the 1st gen anyway so it would only seem fitting.

Anyway, which character newcomers do guys want to see in an e3 trailer reveal?

My characters would be Megaman, Masked Man, Mewtwo?? Bowser Jr., Vaati? and Medusa.

- Ridley
- King K. Rool
- Isaac
- Little Mac
- Mega Man

But I think this is more probable (assuming all five characters are in the game):

Meta-Knight was also unlockable material and he was revealed first at E3 2006.

Saki Amamiya is not a good choice for E3 2012 reveal due to his obscurity. A good choice for Smash, yes. But I think he should be revealed via the Dojo!! (or be unlockable).

Next to the Smash Pokemon, Team Rocket got some attention in spite of having no playable appearances in Smash... they are just that popular and iconic. Period.

Only 1st gen? Let's see... I spot Whismur, Chikorita, Piplup, Corphish, Mime Jr., Bonsly, and Elekid. The fact you only saw 1st gen Pokemon is because they are the most prominent, the most recognizable, the most iconic... to the point they eclipse the other generations.

Yes they were in the video for 2-3 seconds at the most. But the true focus of the video was on Gen 1 and Smash Pokemon. And this being a Smash site, not a Pokemon fandom stie, you shouldn't be surprised that I didn't go into every single detail that made my heart rise. I call it self control.

I know TT, and have worked with him. And by various comments he's made on the VGL website and interviews that I know he's not a Pokemon fan that's why he only looked at Gen 1 for the segment seeing as it made the biggest impact on Gaming Industy and the world. Heck, this is way he took 7 years to make the segment.

Team Rocket. Yes they were in it. But do they have a true chance at getting in? No. If anything they were in there for lols and nostalgia. Meowth that's right.

Being a VG concert, the fact they concentrated on the cartoon is quite surprising, and like I said, TT knows next to nothing about Pokemon, so making the segment based on the cartoon, and having TR say the lines (that they don't say anymore) is natural. But also quite ignorant.

Anyway that's my little rant. Feel free to fight back, but I'm done with this topic.

There is a rumor that the man who runs Serebii.net sent Nintendo a letter pre-Brawl on why Mewtwo should be excluded from the next game. I agree with you on the futulity of trying to argu some points. Unless I am debating with the developers I don't really care if random user 104 disagrees with me. The only opinions that matter are Sakurai and his team.

Serebii Joe? Well if it is true then I hate him. But I wouldn't be surprised if he did. He's the only one I know with any actual connections to the inside of Nintendo. Heck, he's stated before that he knew the Brawl roster way before the leaks and the Japanese release.

Eh, I never really considered Meta Knight unlockable content, but I'll agree to disagree.

Saki is a great choice for an E3 2012 reveal. Big names don't mean everything, SSBF. Strong marketing is where it's at. Saki isn't well-known, but he'll be well-known if he gets into Smash. And casuals aren't going to care if they don't know him, I can guarantee you that. They'll just want to play as him because he looks cool or not play as him because he doesn't. Plus, he's perfect marketing material. A teen with laser guns and swords fighting the likes of Mario, Samus, DK and Pikachu? What marketing company in their right mind wouldn't want to snatch up that opportunity?

Smash is at the point where it already has a large, dedicated fanbase, so it doesn't need big names to sell itself anymore...

Serebii is #1 in fan pokemon sites. It doesn't focus on tournys, like Smogon. Bulbipedia doesnt get live updates, either. (Opinion)

Although I have known about these for several months, it has been discovered that in one of the trailers for the upcoming Smash Bros Brawl on the Japanese Wii.com site, that two characters are confirmed.

I highly doubt they cut Mewtwo just because one website administrator sent them a letter. So I would keep the torch and pitchfork in the closet. Just mentioning what I did to point out that if a person was serious about having their ideas affect something, in the most microscopic of ways; than that is how you should go.

I was joking. I love Serebii, I've been using the site since before Emerald version came out. And either way I wouldn't go after him even if it was true seeing all the things he's done for the VG community.

Ahhhh... classic. I agree with Sakurai's reasoning, though. If they had a significant Nintendo appearance(even one game), they're applicable. And also, originating in video games as its media source is kind of a good idea.

Basically, Mario should remain Nintendo exclusive. After all, Master Chief is XBOX exclusive, and Microsoft doesn't exactly tolerate Nintendo using its contents on major consoles.

Oh you mean Etna! Yeah that's her name, she comes from an SRPG called Disgaea, it's similar to Fire Emblem, very interesting IMO, lots of girls as well.

And girls you say? None that I know of although I do get a vibe that shortie and mecha are girls, or at least pretend to be, I dunno, it's just the way they worded their posts in the past is all.

Honestly, gen 1 Pokemon was first, and it was the best one ever. I don't care if it's over-presented in Smash in terms of playability; I wouldn't want it any other way.

If anything, the newer Pokemon gens will be showcased via poke balls, as it's been since the beginning. In the N64; purely gen 1. Melee had gens 1 & 2. Brawl had gens 1-4. I wouldn't be surprised if gens 5 and 6 were included for poke balls for the next installments. If your guys' choices don't make the cut to playable status, they can still show up via poke ball.
