Yeah that's plausible, even though DK appears to be slightly behind her. I'm usually not one to get paranoid over tripping-like animations after he clearly stated that it's gone but it totally looks like she just slipped.

I am going to need to make a public apology if that is truly the case. I have been such a pretentious ass in regards to it not being an Assist Trophy.

She may have tripped. Bananas or even DK's down tilt could have been done just before he jumped. You can bet tripping will be back, just not randomly.

I don't think it's tripping , for Sakurai to take a picture where Zelda poses , Samus trips and DK jumps so that it looks like he's jumping on her head ? all that being random ?

Random tripping deconfirmed anyway.

You can bet tripping will be back, just not randomly.

Oh I'm sure of that as well. And I know random tripping is deconfirmed and I relatively firmly believe Sakurai will stick to that, but you can't get more skittish than he is so there won't be a complete sense of relief for me until the very end.

I think the arms crossed in the odd pattern might be the other end of transform: when you start as Sheik and end up as Zelda. Those animations are really fast so it's kinda hard to say, but I am kinda at a loss for what else it could be.

Some people just want controversy. I guess it's so they actually have something to complain about in regards to the game once it's out, or just to see other people complain. Either reason is just plain lame though.

It's getting hard to deny now though, these pictures showcase all of Zelda's special attacks, and there's no Phantom to be seen anywhere.
