Im not pissed at not having people to play.. im pissed that when i did play that i didnt have people to play as i wanted to improve and become better but no one wanted to play EVER. Now its more like a well its to late for me to play and i dont have the time. And im here saying i cant play you because if i ever have the time i would like to be able to play you.

back when i met you, you were a really cool dude from the first and only time i met you i held you in high-regard with a lot of respect taking time to drive me and my friends to that one fest that The Cape held to drop people off there then drive another 2 hours just for us and back again. You were always a nice guy but it seems like your an arrogant A$$ now. Rather than talking about how things were and how they are now you and pocky explode in arguement saying how good you were how good they are blah blah babble babble ***** ***** ect.

All we've managed to do is bring up OLD drama that should've been settled over 2 years ago and the truth of the matter the majority of the sterotype came from what Pakman said: it was because they didn't travel and no one really besides myself knew the more recent smashers until they started getting around. On top of that along with a few other things you were the only pittsburgh smasher to travel back in the day so when people saw how bad of a player you were it only heightened the sterotype further. Also, if you have a banned account because you were acting like a 5 year old spamming the forums and acting like an A$$ should leave you with the impression that you shouldn't make or recreate another account seriously man i had respect for you for taking time and going way out of your way to drive people places but now it seems all you do is whine and ***** about how things were and how they should've been and how they are today.
Get over yourself.

Sorry you took the argument wrong. I had no intentions on even starting an argument it was pocky who initiated it and i just fed into it. Im still the same as i have always been. And ive never said i was good or that pocky was bad. In fact i havent bragged about anything here other than being around. Pocky took my comment about no competition in pittsburgh incorrectly and started flaming for no apparent reason other than the fact of starting some drama. Me spamming the forums and getting banned is to show that it really doesnt matter to me. So i bring up an old account as i wasnt finished talking. All i have to complain about is how Pocky could blatently pull lies out of his *** and try to justify them in some way. And i see no problem with double posting as i post on alot of sites that dont have a way to edit your previous posts. And lastly you may take this wrong but i have no reason to get over myself. I have no reason to care about what anyone thinks about me. In fact i like it more when people dislike me as it makes them look more like an *** when people meet me and find out there is no reason to dislike me. but seriously, if there's a misunderstanding, explain away the misunderstanding and shut up. that's how you keep things from blowing out of proportion. if you just start introducing other stuff, it gets out of hand

double posting isn't a huge deal when it's unintentional, but when you do it on purpose just to show up the rules and the moderators, of course you expect to be punished

just go read over some of your old posts gushing about how amazing you are, how you wreck all your friends with amazing 0-100 combos and how you could easily come win tournaments with characters you never even use and tell me that doesn't come off as cocky and arrogant

Philly, born and raised. I go to temple, and we have i nice up and coming smash group, but everyone goes home for the summer. I need practice. Been playing smash seriously since february. I'm considered the best 2D fighter on campus.... i'm trying to gain some weight in smash.

Ok so I brought the player list up to date

time to worry about this gold text blue text thing. i'm very certain that the "top 5" and "next 5" system was stupid; how about just making it a tier type thing (which it pretty much is as it currently is, maybe give my friend fishy the blue )? also, i'm definitely taking away reik's gold text; he definitely plays more in NJ now (plus lives there of course)

also holy crap, there are a lot of colors and font sizes

Tier lists make perfect sense. That way we only have to rank generally. I say break it down like this... Top 2, Next 3, Last 5. I think divisions in skill should be clear with those groupings.

I have those numbered just for the sake of showing that there are 10 ranked players. There is really no difference between number 6 and number 10 though (or at least we will pretend there isn't). This way, arguments should be practically nonexistent. Think 10 is a good number for PA. I know many states do 15, but I think that is pushing it. I'd say 12 tops.

I think a panelist of judges (for lack of a better word) would be a good idea. Like 3 or 4 people who are active and know whats going on and whose who in state. These said judges could be on the rankings themselves or not, it doesn't matter. Also it would be nice to have people from different active parts of the state since we are such a big state and it wouldn't be right if all these areas did not have their own representitive.


If we go with this idea I would like to nominate Rob (D20) as one of the judges and if it comes down to it the judge for our region, he is probably the most active person in Pittsburgh that I can think of next to Evan (Harm).

I'm game with that if we're going through with this. I'm personally in favor of a top 15 just to get more names out there and make sure we don't leave people off who deserve mention, but if it's just top 10, that's fine too. PockyD or Swift should also be on the panel since they also know west + east PA players.

From East PA we should have 2 of these 4 to be panelists, IMO:

Pacman
Dot_Eater

Mow would to good on the list too just to have central PA repped (since no one else there seems to play enough). Maybe a Scranton Guy, though I haven't seen them traveling much lately.
