This list exceeds the 5 spots in my car (including me). Casey, how are you planning to go? Did you want to carpool with us? It's a tantalizing possibility that ABQ could take exactly 1 car to NYTE :awesome: Ian, I would gladly give you the 5th spot, but that assumes only 4 people from Albuquerque want to go. Right now, it doesn't appear that way. Still, unexpected last-minute bull**** might come up (preventing people from going). For now, just hold off on buying a plane ticket to Albuquerque.


Also, Victor/Walker/Nolan/Iria/to-whom-it-may-concern, I'll be at UNM this Friday until 5 pm, so I could also offer rides from that area to Victor's (and back home). Sorry for not posting this earlier :glare:

I'm working until 5ish on friday, so I shouldn't be in the area then.

Also, I should be able to take my car. I'm getting it registered/insured in march, so it'll be good, and it did a round trip to Roswell in a single day twice without any problem, so it should be fine to drive down, unlike Casey's car from what I remember

Is there gonna be a melee set up? I don't have a TV that's at all portable but if someone could provide that and if there will be people who want to play melee I can bring a GC/disc/etc.

n1000, I have a brilliant plan. You bring the GC/disc. I bring the TVs. We play melee all night and blatantly ignore brawl. It'll be magical.

Okay, I contacted a few other casual brawl players, and they're also interested in going. They're super cool - some of them surprised me by first mentioning APEX2012 and Otori's MK and past brawl tournaments with Dekar and ****. One of them . . . his Wario 2-stocked my ROB a few times in friendlies :awesome:

Victor, I'm estimating A LOT of people will be there. Is your apartment big enough to hold like 12+ people? If not, we could move it somewhere else

I can pitch in some for food also. And lastly, my friends from Los Alamos are heavily into 64 and Melee so you can have some fun with them!

I can't get off work in time sorry :(

However we are confirmed for NYTE (have been for some time).

My car includes Light, myself, David, Sam the glide, possibly lewis, and a mr ppmd (likely). Also the Mexico smashers like Woker are probably going to drive here and caravan it with us to AZ.

Great turn out. total at one point was 26 people :D. now thats a party. Thanks for the help, eating all the pizza and dirtying my dishes. I hope you guys enjoyed Rio and all the romance that comes with it.

Also this is our Power Ranking. Once we hold another tournament, Tekkie will shoot up the ranking like my chub would if I was to walk on a Brazilian beach.

side note. Melee dudes, thanks for coming! its always entertaining to watch those matches.

I will steal Seth's spot too (next time). I played the ROB vs Falco matchup poorly and then my Zelda 2-stocked him in the 2nd round and I Zeldacided on the 3rd >.<

at the unm tournament i felt like seth was definitely improving :) he isn't nobody-ish at all lmao

edit: NYTE is in tucson meaning you guys have to swing by socorro to get there anyways. i don't even have to fanagle a ride to ABQ first. so i'm definitely going :)
