KoF was neat and i'm gonna start dowloading it ASAP. won't get into it hardcore but will toy around with it a bit.

1. Thanks to everyone who showed up (with at least 15 unique people!). I don't mean to downplay the whole "the more the merrier" concept, but I was especially glad people brought setups. That's the other reason it kicked ass. And I just want to make sure nobody forgets that.

2. Because it was so grand, I'm hosting again today (Thursday, December 22). Starts at 3 pm. I know it's dangerously close to the most wonderful time of the year, but I'm sure people are free. Not to mention I won't host again until after Christmas (Monday the 26th).

3. I'll have real food this time Arie, I promise :awesome:

4. Some of you might know Johnny Walker, he's like the coolest guy from the SRK community. He'll be at UNMH for neurosurgery (yikes, a brain tumor) this Friday, so wish him well. Maybe some of us can visit him on the day of.

5. I was playing Paper Mario again today. It was A LOT more fun than during the fest. Maybe it was because I was either high as **** today (shoutouts to Cameron) or Walker wasn't screaming in my ear for not pressing a button.

Says the person who invested countless hours to learn and practice the competitive minutiae of Brawl, only to get beaten by like a 16-year-old girl. Not to mention you lost when it counted, and she probably wasn't even taking the match seriously.

Oh, and you raged obnoxiously, yelling about the rules and other random bull****. I don't care that your expletives weren't directed at anyone in particular, I just care that players who were new to the scene and coordinators sponsoring the tournament with a game you care about (and for a children's charity, no less) were watching.

Walker, it's definitely not my place to say or request this of you, but you should behave yourself a little better. Feel free to respond with a massive wall of text about how I'm a hypocritical delinquent, but my point is to give a better impression of the competitive world to the casual scene at the very least.

I'm down for a come-over, I guess.

Also, neil, the humble indie bundle includes cave story +. Which everyone needs to play, probably even more than vvvvvv and super meat boy. Well, everyone needs to play cave story, at least. It's free, anyway. Plus just ads "higher res" graphics and like, remixed music, and like... retranslated dialog.

Also, I'm totally not prepared to battle steven in kofxiii yet. I need more training!

I was apparently late to a fest, but I was busy nerding it up with my 100% Skyward Sword file I just finished today.

Now for Hero Mode...later. Not now.

but to answer k9's question as the last remaining non-pessimistic-emo-kid in NM, we haven't discussed hosting one yet since UNM had a few scrubfest ones recently but i'd like to get something going next spring.

WHO'S LEFT IN NM WHO KNOWS **** ABOUT VENUES AND STUFF

i also agree with everything about this. if someone can hunt down a venue i can help TO and all that ****. also, i'm free the 28th. so LAST MINUTE APEX PRACTICE.

Pokemon - Ruby Version (GBA)
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Destiny Board Traveler (GBA)

All items above are fully functional and the copies are packed with the original box and instruction manual. They are of no use to me any more for various reasons. This charity is not on a first-come-first-serve basis; I expect you all to democratically, economically, and most of all, compassionately, distribute these amongst yourselves. For example, if it is decided a certain person gets Twilight Princess yet cannot make the fest, then I will hold on to it for that person.

I haven't decided what to do with some of my other stuff, but I know I don't want it any more. That includes (1) my broken bricked Wii, (2) my bricked GCN, (3) my broken Guitar Hero controller. I've disassembled them, so they're pretty much spare parts and raw materials now. There's lots of other unlisted stuff I want to get rid of, but it's mostly worthless.
